"Hotel right in the city centre. Easily walking distance from hotel. 5 mins or less from Amsterdam central. You can easily reach out to local attraction, red light area, cafes by walking. Down side was mattress was worst. We booked 2 twin rooms & in both was same issue."

"In good reach of central attractions such as Rembrandt plein (~10min walk) and red light district (~15min walk). Hotel reasonable if a bit dated."

"Check in/out were easy and have room to keep bags. Hotel room was not very clean, not sure sheets were cleaned. Mattress for bed was beyond used - creator in the middle when you lay down. Pretty bare bones - not even an electric kettle to make hot water in the morning. If you are on a street side room you may want ear plugs to sleep as street noise comes in very easily. Personally I would not recommend staying here."

"This is a lovely hotel, really quiet in the room and friendly staff. The main problem with it, is that its not really in the city centre. You are on the east side of the city and have to walk quite a long way to get to the main attractions. There's also nowhere decent to eat a nice hot meal closeby and the hotel itself, doesnt really provide any decent meals, just a few snacks. We tried to get UBER food delivery, but most places would not deliver because the Hotel was too far away. Beware! The taxi from the train station cost us 35 Euro - for a 15 minute walk! We booked a canal view room, we paid 100 Euro extra for this, but all we could see was an ugly grey building opposite the canal - looks like it needs tearing down. The canal is a small one which is seldom used. The room is a nice size and has everything you would need, coffee maker and kettle, but the cups are only big enough for a mouthful and then you need to get up and make some more! Lighting is a bit dark in the room, even with everything on. The beds are comfortable, but a bit too wide. The shower room has a walk in shower which doesnt really drain very well, so the water ends up going all over the bathroom and you end up with a puddle even by the toilet and basin. No hair conditioner in the room, but you can ask at reception if you need some. Breakfast was quite good, lots of healthy choices. Love the yoghurt with oats, chia seeds and mixed fruit. Yoghurt was full fat. Hot food was ok. "
