"Great stay at Hotel Italia, a hotel that blends its historical building with a modern feel. Great staff and top tip to park at the train station for 2 euros per 24hrs if there is no room in their small car park. Absolutely recommend this hotel!"
"We had a lovely visit to Palazzo di Valli. The location is just gorgeous - about a 1.5 km walk to the Campo inside the walls of Siena. The breakfast was wonderful - we looked forward to it every morning. The managers Lorenzo and Giacomo were so kind and accommodating - even when we had a very unexpected late check-in. The only hiccup was driving into the gate for the first time - it is very narrow and we were worried about our rental car not fitting. But turns out it fit just fine and we had no...
"This property is a beautiful, picturesque castle nestled in the Tuscany hills. The staff were all incredible and the rooms and ambience exquisite. We will definitely be back."
"The gentleman at the front desk wasn't friendly each time I saw him. No hot water one of the nights during our stay. Bathroom vent had no cover and looked dirty inside. Overall, it was just OK. "
"My friend and I had such a relaxing time at Relais!! We both got amazing massages from Natalie, the staff helped me figure out how to get to Rome after, the rooms were GORGEOUS, the pool was spectacular and got great poolside drinks, and the food/wine was the best!!! Stay here for a romantic and relaxing getaway surrounded by Tuscany’s beautiful rolling hills and vineyards. Would definitely come back!"
"Amazing residence! We had the room with the main balcony. The view day and night, sun or rain is breathtaking.
We also visited their restaurant for a dinner and the food was high quality and tasty :) with a quality of a decent restaurant "
"Such a classic Tuscany location. Beautiful old Watermill turned into a hotel so it is very rustic. Cell phone service on the area is not good but WiFi seemed fine. Pools were nice but not too big and not a lot of space to accommodate all guests. Enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were helpful. "

"Very well maintained, renovated 19th century building. Close to all attractions, while still easily accessible by car, very close to the pedestrian zone of the old town. Parking is not free, but reasonable (15 Eur/day in the hotels garage). There is no elevator, so you will need to climb some stairs (on the plus side they are all marble stairs). The room was a good size (for 3 adults), tha bathroom is smaller but very clean and nice. It was quiet and air conditioning was working well. We had a good sleep, the blinds can be shut completely, good if you like to sleep longer. The two large mirrors made the room to feel even bigger. Overall, it is a better 3-star hotel. Only drawback for some may be the lack of elevator."
"Sunset from the garden in company with a resident turtle was amazing. Breakfast buffet was good. Hotel clean. Elevator! Staff very helpful. Easily walkable location. Would stay here again!!"
"Great afternoon by the pool.
Evening meal menu was odd. I think the chef was trying too hard to be different. The vegetarian chick pea dish was merely a bowl of cooked onions with some vegetable mush- my wife called it baby food. The chicken with truffles was tasty although came with flabby chicken skin. Breakfast was amazingly good in comparison.
We had a room with a view of a 6 foot tall hedge, beyond the hedge was a fantastic view of Tuscany we couldn’t see, really strange. Staff were very good, the pool pleasingly cold and refreshing. Good but not a great stay."
"A perfect place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Stunning views. Great facilities including a swimming pool and tennis court and a fabulous place to relax. Food & refreshments excellent. Easy distance from Florence and neighbouring villages. A wonderful place as a base to see much of Tuscany. "
