"We selected Siena as our starting point for our hike on the via francigenia to Roma. This was a great property for us to acclimate to Italy. We had a bit of a walk to get down into the city but it was great to prep us for our long pilgrimage. We got see a Palio race and it was great time to be in Siena. The accommodations were spectacular. The weather was hot but the ceiling fans on high kept us cool at night and we slept well. Thanks for making our via francigenia starting point so wonderful. "

We were disappointed that our host checked us in promising to fix a lighting problem that they clearly could not fix and never followed up. "Fantastic modern apartment set in an old building close to the Duomo and Piazza del Campo. Had everything you need; air con, hairdryer, coffee machine, kettle, fan, lots of plug sockets. There are a few flights of stairs but it’s worth it for the beautiful view from the windows. We were able to store our luggage at the main office before check-in and after check-out which was really helpful. Would highly recommend!!!"

Never again. "
