"This is no luxury hotel— it’s very much designed for people getting on or off the Shinkansen. But it fulfills that purpose very well. Free curry rice in the evening, free (delicious!) breakfast buffet in the morning, coin-operated laundry, clean rooms, and just steps to the station to board your train. Plus you can take a selfie on the bench next to Zushihocky, Japan’s weirdest town mascot, a piece of anthropomorphic Sakhalin clam sushi, LOL."

"This is a nice hotel in the harbour area of Hakodate. It has a good onsen with beautiful views of the city and harbour."
