"We had a great time. The property was really lovely with a nice mix of period touches but with all the modern conveniences. Great location in town, close to the cafe and an easy walk to the pub. The verandah is great to have breakfast on and watch the world go by. The town is friendly and was really quiet at night. The towels, beds and other touches were very nice. It was a great place to have a quiet weekend to rest and recharge."

"The building itself is a bit old and run down. The room however was appropriate, the bed was comfy, the sheets clean and the shared amenities were clean and pretty new. The staff couldn’t help me enough when I checked. They were very welcoming and gave me everything I needed for a good stay. I would highly recommend for an individual stay"

"Remember it's 3 star budget accommodation and you'll have realistic expectations and a comfortable stay. This was my third visit. I do find the mattress too firm for me, but my husband said it was fine. This time I felt a bit of maintenance was needed: the hair dryer died, the exhaust fan sounded on it's way out and the shower head might be next. However, I do like the ladies who run it, they're very helpful - brought a replacement hairdryer very quickly! It's always clean, got the usual tea/coffee bikkies with toaster, jug and microwave. Milk in the fridge. Shower things in pump packs on the wall. Very clean. And they do make improvements I've noticed each visit, so I'm confident things will be fixed by my next visit. Still happy to recommend them and stay again."
