"Love this hotel. Only stayed for a long weekend but was very happy. Clean rooms, staff were always friendly and very approachable. The only negative was that the room did not have a microwave. Centrally located to everything. Shopping and food were within walking distance. Also, I recommend that you download the App. Keyless entry and check in was so convenient. Highly recommend."

"Phenomenal hotel!! From the moment I walked in my room, I knew that this would be preferred choice for my next Chicago area visit. Great staff, especially the restaurant staff!! Beautiful property. Close to everything, including train!! Only cons: If you book through a 3rd party app (Expedia), let them know immediately or wake up to daily charges. Also, the $50 early check in fee... if my room is already ready, I don't understand the fee. Other than that, you'll have no regrets with The GEM of Evanston!!!"
