"Room was pleasant enough but lacking attention to detail - some else's soap and shampoo left in bathroom, no batteries in the remote. Only 4 parking spaces and no available on street parking - had to pay £15.50 for overnight parking. Good location though."

"Great location but be prepared for the climb back up the hill from town! The parking involved a bit of shuffling but it was easy enough and superb to have an EV charger. We had the smallest room which doesn’t have a seaview but we knew that before coming and the room was lovely and cosy, with plush carpets, linen and towels. I wasn't sure what it'd be like without a staffed reception but it was easy to get hold of someone if you needed anything."

"The Crown was ideally suited for us to visit relatives and the Minack theatre. The room was spotless, comfortable and quiet. Our host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great breakfast too. "

"Unfortunately for us the pub and restaurant were closed which we were aware of before checking in because the Inn is under new ownership and is being renovated. So we were the only ones in the building. The room was small and clean. Chefs came in to cook us breakfast which was delicious. They were very friendly. It’s an idyllic location but there are no walkable restaurants or pubs nearby that were open in the evenings so it was a little disappointing. "
