"The bathroom fan did not work, I reported it the first day, however it was not fixed by the time we left. I was also surprised at the valet only parking. The rooms were very clean, and I felt safe being at the hotel. I would recommend staying there, even with the mandatory valet parking."

"The room was the size of a Cracker Jack box. Not my preference. Bathroom is comparable to a cruise ship bathroom with the tiny vanity and sink outside the bathroom door. "Horrible. Every single item or experience is an extra fee or heavily monitored, effectively killing any relaxing vibe you might want for the high, "luxury" price you pay. This is a tourist trap extraordinaire. It made me feel like I was paying to be in a place trying to extract from me, not serve me. And yes, I did complain twice to the front staff about these issues - to stony faces and lame excuses that were canned and code for "we don't care." The resort fee is $60/day (which is not made clear on Orbitz, where I booked it), yet when I went in February the pool and all outdoor facilities - which is what the resort fee pays for - closed at 6pm. We were told it closes at "sundown," even though they clearly have outdoor lights for the whole outside facility. Want to swim in the evening or night? Nope. And if you dare to be in the pool at 6:01, there were six staff for every one guest to tell you to get out. You have to wear an armband everywhere you go. There is no coffee in the connected by long walks) to their coffee in the room. You can pay $10 for a cup of coffee at their coffee shop. But don’t try to drink it by the pool. Those seats and lounges require you to pay a fee, even in February when there was NO ONE there. If you don't want to pay, you can find a free lounge on the outer fringes. And if you try to sit without paying, there are staff to tell you to move immediately."

"One of our bathrooms was not cleaned all the way. The staff were very kind and helpful except the staff guarding the pool. We weren’t allowed to take our water bottles and had to take them back to our rooms. Only to find out there were may pool goers who had Water bottles with them. The food at the swim bar was overpriced for its product. The staff was kind there as well. We loved our breakfasts staff. Our waiter was fantastic and the food was pretty good there as well. The location was perfect for walking to the pier and to travel to our cruise ship. We would definitely stay here again, just plan our meals differently."
