Tucked away in western Bali, Mendoyo offers pristine black sand beaches and traditional weaving villages where artisans demonstrate ancient techniques. Trek through terraced rice fields to reach Yeh Embang waterfall or join locals at Pura Rambut Siwi temple for spectacular sunset ceremonies overlooking the ocean.
Excellent location for surfers if you get the beach front deluxe villa, you wake up with the wave view and check the swell from your bed before walking down to surf.
The room was new, nice and clean.
The Food was fantastic and reasonable price.
Staff were very good and accommodating.
Some parts of hotel were under-renovation but it doesn’t affect our stay at all.
This is the best hotel in Bali we have ever been for surfing trip (and we have been pretty much everywhere).

A very peaceful and comfortable stay at a quiet and relaxed location. Staff were just lovely, room was unique and comfortable and although the location is remote, it was just what we needed to help us relax. Pool amenities were lovely too. I would definitely recommend for a quiet, relaxing location.

Great resort if you want to relax and enjoy a natural unspoilt environment that is right on the beach protected from most winds with rolling waves.
Great base to explore West Bali from.

It's hard to say anything negative about this place- staff and premises were both charming & welcoming. Everyone there was very helpful and though it took a little more effort to communicate sometimes, they really do go over and beyond to make sure your stay is as good as it can be.
My favourite bits:
- everyone who works there seems genuinely passionate about what they do- this shines through in service
- waking up to a private beach - who doesn't like that!
- our driver was very...

I have no idea what this property is like!
I booked a few nights @ $2.88 per night so as I could upgrade to gold on my account so they are welcome to a 5⭐️ for the achievement

The kindness and courtesy of Mimpi staff commence at check in. I arrived unexpectedly early, but staff made sure my room was ready within a couple of minutes.
Restaurant and spa staff were also exemplary. They look wonderful in their traditional clothing.
The grounds are beautifully kept, and there are multiple places for a hot springs bathe, if you do not have your own hot spring water pool.
A library and well stocked gift shop are in the vicinity of the restaurant. Mimpi can arrange...
