"This is a gorgeous boutique hotel -- it felt like an oasis to us. The rooms are very spacious and many of them are their own little bungalow. The hotel was clearly set up by someone who had passion for this; the detailing and decorations are very tasteful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When the main ferry service had terrible delays due to an incident, the manager, Mey, chartered a boat for us and arranged for a car in Bali to get us to our destination. "Nusa Bay Resort is “rustic” style accommodation in an incredibly beautiful, out of the way spot in Bali. The resort is very clean but somewhat dated and tired. I could not speak highly enough about the staff and the service! The food is very good and reasonably priced for a remote location. There is abundant wildlife and a nice reef to snorkel on at your doorstep. If you like nature and something other that Kuta/Nusa Dua/Ubud/Canngu, I would highly recommend."

"This was a convenient place to overnight between Bromo and Bali. The grounds are huge and decorated with beautiful sculptures, and the pool area was large and nicely done. The rooms were fine, but the bathrooms were very dirty- everything needed a good scrubbing, and our bathtub had around 10 dead insects in it when we arrived. "

"This is my third time to stay. The hotel is good quality and comfortable. Staff are welcoming. It also has a nice little bar. The pool is OK, but not really for active swimming. The aircon needs a bit of an overhaul in some rooms (I had to move rooms because it didn't work in my first room, and the controller was kind of broken in the second), but overall a good temperature reached for 4 great sleeps in a comfy bed and lovely pillows."

"Had a great stay here, restaurant is closed so set out for food. There was a tasty food stand outside and found a good restaurant across the street - local eats nothing fancy but good. Pool was nice and there are tables around to spend time in. The front desk gave us a number of a contact for Ijen crater which turned out great. Not far to ferry to Bali. SOme bugs in the room but it comes with the territory. We had to keep toilet seat closed at all times though because it always had ants inside...

"Mimpi Resort is exceptional! We absolutely loved our stsy here. We didn't want to leave! The staff were all incredible and so friendly and kind. Very attentive too. The room was beautiful! We had the villa with private pool and hot spring which was so special. The restaurant was great. Delicious food and sunset views were stunning. The tours to Menjagan Island were wonderful. We enjoyed a snorkel tour and saw deer on the Island Highly recommend 😊"

"The place is amazing given that it is in the middle of a national forest. If you want to have a real snorkeling experience, book a trip to Menjangan island, and not just by the private jetty. While you will see fish off the jetty, the coral are mostly bleached. This is a beautiful place to reconnect with nature and enjoy the generous balinese hospitality."

We enjoyed delicious food from both restaurants. We also enjoyed bird watching, snorkeling, and horseback riding. It was incredible to see monkeys, giant squirrels, coucal, kingfishers, Bali Mynas, a civet cat, barking deer, a falconet, and much more. We felt privileged to experience West Bali National Park...
