"This hotel is gorgeous, from the immaculate and very interesting grounds (jogging path through the jungle section, formal gardens and agro-forestry garden) to the incredibly patient and highly courteous staff. We loved the included bike tour and garden tour, complete with fruit tasting from their crops. The shuttle bus down to Ubud was also very useful. The staff for these these activities deserve special mention. The food was really lovely, with the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant on the 3rd floor being particularly noteworthy. Staff took care to check in with us every few days and ask, for example, if there was anything else we wanted for breakfast which was not already provided. We couldn't think of anything as so much was choice was already provided! Touches such as mending my glasses beautifully, when I asked had only asked for some tape and flowers after I needed a plaster and some antiseptic after cutting myself on an outing made us feel very looked after. It is certainly an oasis of calm!"

"An all around great experience. We were there during the rainy season, so while we didn’t see a lot of sun, there was a lot to keep us happy: terrific food, especially the breakfasts, lovely staff, and loads of activities to keep us busy. Really recommend the trip to the waterfalls as well as the sustainability tour around the plantation. A perfect example of how well they take care of their guests was when we had to have our dehumidifier replaced because it wasn’t working. It was done very promptly and to make up for the inconvenience (and it really was hardly an inconvenience at all!) they gave us a voucher for both of us to have a full Balinese massage which was heavenly. Can’t recommend Munduk Moding Plantation enough. "

"This place is beautiful. Friendly staff, delicious food. This is a luxury experience, living among elephants. This property has 24 elephants that are well taken care of; each elephant is handled with care, feed well, washed daily, and treated with dignity. From every room, you can see the elephants. Its such a treat; treat yourself to escape to paradise. "

"This is a stunning property. It is absolutely immaculate both the house and the grounds. The staff were amazing, particularly Iloh. She kept everything so clean, looked after us and our washing and cooked some outstanding meals. Due to length of the staff we were given a free massage. The best massage I have had anywhere in the world! I had one every other day for about 7% of what I would have paid in the UK. This is a unique, stunning property. There was absolutely nothing that didn’t work for us. We loved the open/outdoor living, we loved the open air bathrooms and also the air conditioned bedrooms. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough. There is a great supermarket down the road and wonderful restaurants and warungs around too. It is a perfect place to stay and unwind. "The villa and staff were top notch! Loved the pool:) we were in it every day wyan and binter kept the place in great shape plus making some great meals , we will miss the morning fruit bowls wayan made us they all did a great job i felt for putu trying his best to clean the beach but the ocean had other ideas lol "

"The staff was kind and courteous! Rooms were spacious, but could do with a freshen up, and remove wallpaper as it’s peeling from humidity, so if you are bougie then maybe not your style. The grounds were well kept and the large gazebos facing the water (sit a whole family) were great. The area was quiet and a bit isolated, but had shuttle where you need to go and "

"We had a great stay as a family of 4 (our kids are 6 and 9). What made the stay so special was the two ladies that helped us in the home. They made great breakfasts in the morning and were so helpful. It was a really relaxing and beautiful time. The security and gardener were also very kind! "
