"Clean and the staff so helpful. Aging hotel but full of charm and great value for money! Location is 5 star as you can step into a restaurant, the beach, on a tram or catch a bus to the airport all within 100m! Great bar and restaurant in the hotel. we got a free upgrade on arrival, so felt like royalty with 200 degree views of the ocean to the city! Breakfast is good, not overly fancy but completely adequate and family friendly. Definitely be back!"

"On first sight, the room looked of 5 star quality, with good amenities in the room, bathroom and storage area. However, the carpet is in very serious need of a good deep clean and was rather unsavoury to both look at and walk on. "

"This isn't our first stay at Stamford Plaza, it is a great place to stay, location is brilliant, staff are very friendly and helpful, room was great, comfortable bed and everything you need on hand. We didn't have any issues at all, nice touch to have complimentary water each day, even got some lindt chocolate on one of the days which was nice."
