The Cubby House was approx 45 minutes drive from the city and was a fantastic place to unwind each night after being in a very busy city every day and a beautiful place to wake up in the morning with the birds singing and the fresh open air! "Visited for a four day stay at the start of school holidays, for some much needed down time for parents and eight year old. Property was a perfect location, overlooking Knights Beach, and three blocks walk from The Strand. Clean, neat, well organised and comfortable, the hosts had thought of everything. Great people watching as you overlook the path around the headlands and are at a perfect viewing spot for the top of knight's/boomer beach. Lovely to step out our front door and watch the brave...

"My family stayed at the accommodation whilst visiting the Goolwa and Hindmarsh Island areas. The property is large, clean and well appointed. It is very conveniently located in the center of Goolwa which is a lovely town."

"Really lovely spot with beachfront views of Knights beach from living room and master bedroom. Cleanliness of bathrooms and kitchen could be improved, on arrival we found the table was sticky and dishes / glassware not clean. Tile grout in bathrooms could be improved and new bed linen would make a major difference. We found a vacuum and broom to tidy ourselves but no vac charger. Hosts lovely and easy to communicate with. Thanks for the stay."

"Positives: The apartment was close to everything which was good. Bed was very comfortable amenities were good negatives: the fry pan was useless and everything stuck to it. The light coming in the bedroom from the walk through outside made it hard to sleep, i had to get an eye mask as it was very light. there was no wifi as listed. really needs to be listed as to the amount of stairs as an older couple would not cope with them, they were very steep. looking at the photos it suggested room came...

"Overall great property & location. Stairs were a bit of a challenge for one of us but we coped OK. One aspect of check in process that could do with improvement is visibility of numbers on key lock, Even in daylight we had to get a torch to see the numbers."

"We did enjoy our stay. However the property is more suited to family stays than 2 couples, mainly because the second 'bathroom' facility is located outside, and not entirely adequate. Also there is no designated parking area for a second car, and there was no BBQ to give the girls a break from cooking!"
