"We loved our stay at Maui Island Sands Resort! The view from the lanai was exactly like the photos, absolutely stunning. Within minutes of arriving, we saw a turtle on the beach and several more swimming. Later, nearly twenty turtles were visible resting by the rocky shore. It was a highlight of our trip.The condo was spacious and perfect for our family of five. It had a main bedroom with an en-suite bath and a second bedroom with its own bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked, and there were plenty of towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, and even a beach umbrella.Everything felt clean, updated, and well-maintained. The complex itself was quiet and had a pool, BBQ area, and a foot wash station. Assigned parking was also a plus.It’s just a short walk to Haycraft Park for beach access. We enjoyed snorkeling there and saw fish and turtles, but I’d recommend water shoes as there are thorns from nearby trees.Maalaea Bay is very windy (we saw consistent 15-25 MPH winds), so plan beach time in the morning before it picks up.Our host, Robert, was fantastic! He was very communicative and accommodating. He even let us check in early so we didn’t have to leave our bags in the car. Highly recommend this place!"

"Barb and Larry thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and like home! There are so many extras from the kitchen to bedding extras to pool and beach supplies! Everything is clean and well maintained. Their communication during our stay was wonderful. The bed was so comfortable that I wanted to bring it home with me! Ha! You can tell they are proud tobe sharing their space. And view was gorgeous! Thank you for a wonderful stay! "
