"We stayed 4 days. Pros: This property is in a great location minutes from the south gate of the Yosemite park. Beautiful on the inside and out. Our room was appointed with just about everything you could need and nicely decorated. Staff was always very helpful, friendly and provided great service. Our 1 breakfast's/ 1 lunch/2 dinners/ 1 at Jackalope's Bar & Grill (Embers was closed) were very good tasty. ( Rib-eye steak was great and served correctly.) Clam chowder was very good. Thai Chicken lettuce wraps were yummy. We enjoyed other dishes too. We booked spa massages that were great. We very much enjoyed the pools and hot tubs. Cons: Sadly we loved where a room was located so we did not report the problems we had with the room to staff. Our bed was not very comfortable and we had 2 queens beds and the other was no better. The toilet was so low to the floor we thought it was for kindergarten students. The day before we left the refrigerator stopped working. One of the plugs in the bathroom didn't work and could not be reset. ( We reported this) We had breakfast our last morning and the buffet food was cold and there were other issues. I told staff and he said would you like something else. Would we stay at Tenaya Lodge again, yes we would."

"Property was clean and kitchen was well provisioned. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay (albeit too short). We were three senior-aged couples. The third bedroom with two twins was not ideal for one couple but plenty OK. Two single folks or youngsters would be fine. The deck overlook was especially nice. The driveway as the owner mentions is quite steep We had no problem at all with an AWD van. Plenty of room for a single car at the top and that is what the owner recommended. Definitely do read the easy driving directions (Google maps initially sent us on an amusing wild goose chase)."

We’ve never experienced a cabin in the woods that combines this level of luxury, comfort, and attention to detail while still feeling so connected to nature. It truly has everything you could possibly need, with all the comforts and amenities of home. Ellie and Drew were absolutely wonderful—so responsive, attentive, and thoughtful throughout our entire stay. They made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. We highly recommend experiencing Yosemite at The Wildernest Yosemite! It’s the perfect place to disconnect, relax, and enjoy the beauty of nature without giving up the comforts of home.
