Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay

10/10 Excellent

"Exactly what I expect from Marriott"

Musket Cove Island Resort & Marina

10/10 Excellent

"We have been visiting Fiji for over 30 years now, and have enjoyed holidays at various island resorts there first as a young couple in our early 20's, then as nearly-weds, newly-weds, followed by taking our kids at all ages/stages from toddlers to teens and then as adults. Musket is by far our favourite Fiji resort, and exudes a quieter charm all its own. The absence of a Kid's Club doesn't mean children aren't welcome, but it does mean that you can enjoy a more grown-up setting and offering than say, neighbouring Plantation Island Resort - which you can walk to for a change of scene if you want. Despite usually being at-capacity (on checking with staff), you never feel crowded due to the layout of bures and space to explore around the island. Staff are kind and friendly, food is excellent (cannot emphasise this enough), and the bures older but well-serviced. Sandbar snorkeling is magical, as is the option of cooking your own BBQ (included) and meeting yachties from around the world at Island Bar, or just watching the sunset with Steven (a friendly doggy local) and a cocktail in hand. Cannot wait to get back! Vinaka vakalevu."

4-Bedroom Villa with Panoramic Sea Views and Pool – Malolo Lailai Island

10/10 Excellent

"On the property itself - breathtaking views and very comfortable. We used the pool everyday and cooked basic food. The beach was right in front where we walked to see the fishes right by the shore and did reef snorkelling. They had drinking water, life jackets, snorkelling gear and a dishwasher. Tip: bring your own fishing gear. Minor suggestion is to have a washing machine, particularly helpful if we stayed longer. On the host/housekeeper- we were made to feel like a part of the family and Nilesh/Preeti met all of our needs for a fair price. We enjoyed their conversations, home cooked meal, fresh coconuts and the Nanny service was particularly helpful. On the island itself - beautiful place and people, the snorkelling and fishing was amazing. Expect lots of mosquito's and not a lot of food options (also more expensive than mainland) if not staying in a fully board resort. However, we thought that the private villa was worth the view and savings. We could just walk down to the resort for food if we wanted to."
