Excellent séjour
Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour de 2j à l'hôtel L'emplacement est idyllique, les pieds dans l'eau. Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant et sympathique Les chambres très propres et fonctionnelles. Si on doit trouver un petit point négatif, c'est la place de parking pour la voiture en journée, mais sinon tout est parfait, bravo !

Great staff but a 3 star hotel, not 4 stars.
Staffs were really nice and helpful. We were disappointed due to cleanliness of the room, there were hairs from previous guests on the floor and there was dust on the wardrobe shelves. And also the mattress, it was not comfortable, I have not slept well. Also you had to pay to use the Sun lounger by the swimming pool.

A Lovely Hotel by the Sea
I cannot recommend enough the Universal Hotel Marques, initially for it’s perfect seaside location, with two lovely beaches and a great swimming pool to chose from, then for the highly professional and most welcoming staff for whom nothing is too much effort to make you feel at home. Nice bar overlooking the sea, with a good choice of food and drink, the cocktails being recommended. The hotel has great and stylish facilities, top 4 stars and still a “beach hotel”. The food is absolutely delicious and the menu varies daily. Plenty of entertainment all day long and in the evening, there’s always something going on. The rooms are comfortable and sport great sea views, plus the daily most awaited show in Colonia Sant Jordi - the gorgeous sunset from your room balcony! Well done Universal Hotel Marques, many thanks for looking after us and looking forward to our next stay!

One iron for the whole hotel- a rubbish one too. With a TINY ironing board. They automatically add unicef donation to your bill- this should be optional. NO drinks included with half board dinner and with breakfast the orange juice is diluted and the water tastes funny. Not much range for the buffet food.

Great stay
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay - the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The location - out of the centre of town and right on the water - was relaxing and idyllic. The boardwalk/promenade around Colonia de Sant Jordi begins right outside the hotel, so it's perfect for a walk. The breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful - I especially appreciated that they had soya milk without me having to ask! Unless you've booked to have lunch and/or dinner included, I would maybe skip those - while it was definitely convenient, and would be helpful for families staying at the hotel, the food wasn't that interesting.

Close to the beach
Room nice and clean, but quite small for 2 persons. Nice and big bathroom, big shower cabin, all new (furniture, sanitaries). Breakfast was good and diversified. Very close to the beach, good wifi. Free parking spaces near by available most of the time, so no need to worry about. We stayed at the Villa Marquesa, so no sea view or something else nice.

Fantastic hotel situated right on the beach. Having stayed several times some of the staff recognised and greeted us.1/2 board basis offers a comprehensive good quality buffet. One of those hotels where we are happy to stay time and time again.

Nice sea view from room
Large hotel on beach front very busy, reception great room OK but next to binds on first floor so a smell but view v good. To big for a romantic or solo stay. Could do more to improve the outside seating area breakfast.

Worth s visit....
The position of the hotel was almost second to none, beautiful. Great amenities with lovely outside space to relax in with instant access to a great beach with amazing coloured clear water. Our room had an amazing view and as lovely, the only niggle was a small balcony door. Bathroom facilities were excellent and spacious, a lovely big walk in shower and very easily adjustable temperature and power handle. Carpeted corridors within the hotel made it quiet when people walked about the corridors. The lifts were small and the 2 lifts only allowed 4 people in each, a bit inconvenient for a busy hotel. Breakfast and dinner were both lovely. Dinner particularly well arranged by the staff. Lunchtime snacks tasty also served by friendly staff also. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a nice peaceful stay.

Nice hotel right in the water.
This is a very nice hotel, the facilities were very clean and well maintained. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. The staff we encountered were very nice especially when I was a bit grumpy. I think my only issue would be the times in which food is available. As guests arrive at varying times it would be nice to have access to “real” food other than cake and a piece of pastry. Food times are very restricted as is availability. The room itself was very nice, and modern. I would suggest a real pillow though. The pillow for the beds are body pillow shapedand made of a weird material so it feels like your trying to sleep on paper towels. Would much prefer pillows that are really pillows. I would like to say that their command of languages is amazing. Front desk staff switch between English, German, and Spanish effortlessly.

Everything was great. The food, the staff, the (couples) naturist Beach in walking distance, the choice of food in the hotel, you name it, it's just good. Hotel guests are predominantly Swiss.

View of a ping pong table
Upon arrival to the Universal Hotel Marques we were checked into a tiny room with a view of a ping pong table, although we had pre-paid for 4 nights in a deluxe SEA VIEW room! Maribel, the front desk agent, explained they did not have any the sea view rooms available until the following day and that we could move to a superior room the following day. She declined any sort of refund for the downgraded room and only compensated us free beach towel rental- ($5/day!). This room was a complete dump and literally looked out to and astro-turf courtyard with a ping pong table. In addition, this hotel is noisy with thin walls, breakfast was like a cattle herd and employees seemed unhappy and provided mediocre customer service. This experience was so opposite of our other 4 hotel experiences in Mallorca and Mainland Spain. I will be contacting Expedia and our credit card company for a refund for our first night's accommodation.

Tolle Lage am Meer und zum Strand. Gelungene und geschmackvolle Renovierung mit einladendem Ambiente. Frühstück und Abendessen in Qualität und Auswahl gut - Essen draußen gut, Essen im Essensaal laut, eng und kühl - Klima). Zwei große Probleme für uns: 1. Zimmer zur EsTrenc-Seite sind oberhalb der Bar, die Ende September fast täglich bis 23.00 Uhr laute Live-Musik hat, selbst bei geschlossenem Fenster deutlich hörbar. Zudem im Gebäude hellhörig, z.B. Putzen nebenan, untendrunter, obendrüber immer deutlich hörbar. 2. Komplettes Gebäude wird abends bis 23 Uhr mit allen Balkon-Lichtern beleuchtet - ökologisch nicht i.O.

Se trata de un hotel con una ubicación ideal, junto a una playa preciosa y a 20-30 min caminando de la famosa playa de Es Trenc. Todo durante la estancia resultó muy bien: la atención de todo el personal, la limpieza, la comodidad de las habitaciones, la calidad y variedad del desayuno y la cena. Todo casi perfecto. Como única pequeña cuestión a mejorar, propondría que el horario de la cena buffet se extendiera al menos hasta las 22 h...

Super freundliches Personal. Nachdem ich es im 4. Stock mit der Höhenangst zu tun hatte, hat sich das gesamte Team sehr bemüht, unser Zimmer am nächsten Tag gegen eins im 2. Stock zu tauschen. Einfach super, danke nochmal :)
