The "hotel" is combined with a long term facility for what appeared to be migrants. Also, the transport shuttle times posted were incorrect. You only get one shot to the airport at 0730.

I only stayed at the hotel for one night. However, I really enjoyed my room. It had a living room, comfortable bed and a bathroom with the tub. Room was spotless, hotel staff were super nice. Added bonus-free shuttle to the airport. I didnā€™t care much for a restaurant on premises (buffet style dinner) but it didnā€™t matter much to me. Canā€™t say about area around it but definitely looked industrial. I really enjoyed my stay

Very basic airport hotel. Restaurant on site but only offers Buffett and food was very bland and cold. ā‚¬18 per person for lunch was not at all worth it. Walk up the street to the Crown Plaza for a delicious burger and fries for ā‚¬15 instead. Pool was closed, and no one told us. Would have booked a different hotel if we'd known. Airport shuttle was good although we only took it to the airport...we were not able to find it on arrivals and paid ā‚¬27 for a taxi. Room is spacious, but furniture is very basic. Beds are not very comfortable. Ok for 1 night.

The whole experience was very meh. The room was fine, the front desk staff was competent, the vending machine coffee was surprisingly good. The neighborhood is abandoned-industrial, and the only evening food option is another hotel's restaurant. Or you can walk a kilometer away along empty overgrown lots and a freeway to get to the ONLY regular restaurant within walking distance. Oh, and it closes early, by Spain standards. The airport transport was incompetent to the point of maliciousness. After waiting AN HOUR for the driver to come back (he said he would be 15 minutes, and refused to squeeze us in the van) we ended up catching a ride with a neighboring hotel's shuttle. They were quite gracious, even though we weren't their clients. The hotel offers cheap rates, which is presumably why it primarily caters to traveling youth sports teams. The lobby was packed with teens and tweens on check-out and check-in. If you have any other options for the price, I heartily suggest you take them.

Was a good hotel. The shuttle that takes you to the airport is not very reliable, they have a few times it will pick you up in the morning .

We stayed one night at the Madrid Airport Suites, because of a ridiculously early flight out the next morning. The hotel itself is nothing special -- dated facility, but clean. The restaurant was only serving buffet dinner, which had a nice variety, but the food had obviously been in the warmer for a long time. Beds were decently comfortable, and the bedding was quite nice. We really appreciated the airport shuttle, and were surprised with a bag breakfast to take with us at 3:30 in the morning. When looking for a place to sleep near Madrid airport without lots of frills, this is a great option.

Did not enjoy this stay one bit. Lots of people roaming around, unsure if they are staying there or living there but it made us feel uneasy. Not the cleanest, people arenā€™t friendly that work there. The place is next to nothing with one restaurant attached with limited hours of being open. They claim to offer shuttling service to local attractions (on their webpage) which isnā€™t the case. They claim to offer shuttling to the airport every 45 minutes however, no one there bothers to inform you that you need to reserve a spot on the shuttle so $15 euro taxi fare later, we were very happy to say goodbye to this hotel never to return again!

Initially had problems with their early check-in which was supposed to start 48 hours before the actual stay. I called Melia and they contacted the hotel directly and made sure the staff were aware I was coming. This turned out to be a Huge advantage. The lobby was packed at midnight with other people trying to check in or get rooms. I was able to circumvent all of this and got to my room in no time at all. Wasn't able to contact the hotel directly for the shuttle from the airport. Not exactly sure what the issue was - it had to do with calling the hotel. could have been my phone. Scheduled the shuttle to the airport the next day. We were able to go early to the Madrid airport (which is a nightmare of an airport) as one of the employees drove us and another couple in a van there, the bus was full. The buffet breakfast was Amazing! Fresh fruit! A very wide variety of items are available - both hot and cold. As much coffee as you wanted - which is a huge plus in my opinion. I would stay there again

Avoid by all means.
I donā€™t like to post negative reviews. However, this affiliated with Melia Hotel is a shame.Why would Melia risk its reputation to associate itself with such an awful hotel is a mystery to me . I sent 11 messages to the hotel asking about the shuttle. No one bothered to reply. The staff is unfriendly , unmotivated and unhelpful. The hotel feels like a Salvation Army dormitory. Overall, a very miserable experience . Stay away!

The check in process was disorganized with a long line of people waiting to be checked in and only 2 workers. Shuttle to the airport was only available 5 hours before our flight with no available shuttle time until after our flight. Room was nice and the staff seemed nice enough, they are just overworked and understaffed.

We tried to get ahold of hotel for 10 days. Probably emailed and called 25 times. They never answered the phone and never responded to email. Check in too 80 minutes in lineā€¦never have seen anything like it. Clothes hanging out of windows. Just horrible experience overall and lobby was very dirty as was pool area. Transportation to airport was on time. One very minor positive.

The rooms were spacious and bathroom was good. Wish they had another light in bathroom other than the heatlamp. Especially in summer, it heats up the room more. Runner in hallways looks terrible and dirty.

As I got to the hotel I was dismay to see a large cue of at least 50 people ahead of me for check in. People coming in after me got the same look. Only two persons working at reception. It took one hour and half to get at front and get my room. Room was spacious and clean. The restaurant only served buffet style or nothing for an exorbitant price and it did not look very appetizing. Next morning the buffet breakfast was very complete but at a heavy price not included in the room total. The hotel was conveniently located close to the airport. It was massive, so big I got lost a couple of times trying to find my room. I had no other choice but to get this hotel, everything else was full but if I can I will not do it again

Overpriced for a hotel that was out dated. The furniture was from the 1950s. I felt the facility were very old apartments converted into a crappy hotel. The pictures and write up are false from the Expedia website. Do not recommend this hotel for anyone!

As soon as my daughter and i walked around the property we immediately looked for somewhere else to stay. The environment was more like an asylum sekkers refuge. We felt unsafe. The onsite store was a shelf. The restaurant was really limited and soup kitchen. The pool was closed and filthy. We checked out within an hour of checking in. I couldnt even let reception know why as the girl didnt want to know. Absolutely terrible.

This hotel didnā€™t have anything ready at check in. I was told that the restaurant affiliated with the hotel wasnā€™t open at 1pm and had to find food elsewhere. It is not near any dining options and staff was not helpful in navigating the area or transportation. Booked here for the airport shuttle that I never used. Long wait times for how close it is to the airport. Scheduled a 4:30a shuttle and left before that - was told another wouldnā€™t be back for another hour and I needed to call a taxi. I would not recommend staying here.

It took 1 hour and a half to register for room. Staff was very slow due to overflow of voucher issuance to other guests. We did have great service from the shuttle driver from picking us up at airport to taking us back to airport. Our stay only lasted a minimum of 5 hours

Stay away from this hotel. They offer airport Shuttle but that is a lie. They ask you to call from the Airport and never answer the phone or pick you up. Took us almost 2 hours on line to reach the check in staff. They promised Breakfast included but that is another lie. You have to pay. When you try to make a claim, the staff just tells you "it's your problem" or "you can write what ever you want". Their customer service stinks, their front desk people are very unprofessional and needs serious training. What kind of management this property has? there are other options close to the airport. Go there instead.

Rooms are very plain, barely operational: shower head broken, mattress springs uneven and sticking, tv control partially broken ; no night stand, tv stand extremely low -not good for watching television in bed. Front desk minimally polite, efficient. Hotel wonā€™t respond to emails and hard to get through on phone. Neighborhood very sketchy and unappealing: abandoned buildings, empty lots, nowhere to walk, framed by freeways. Patio overrun with transient. The covered pool is only open summer (begs the question of why ā€œcoveredā€). Advice: if you need an overnight stay close to Madrid airport, find a hotel in Barajas.

This property looks like it was built for emergency housing for refugees. Cheap construction, unfinished drywall, dark hallways, no bedspreads, poor lighting in rooms, no TV in rooms, cheap furniture, beds were basically cots. We paid for a queen room with extra bedrooms. No queen beds, but there was a twin bed in the kitchen area. We were not comfortable leaving the room to get dinner and we took the 6:30 am shuttle (2 hours sooner than needed) to get out of the hotel. The outside area had lots of people standing around loitering. We paid $350 plus tax for this room, criminal.

I didnā€™t like to arrive to a lobby PACKED with 87 patrons waiting to check in at 1100 pm. There were only two clerks handling this crowd. It took 1 hour and 22minutes to get to the front desk. At 1117 pm !! They handed out key cards that did not open doors. One young man got a keycard to someone elseā€™s room. The patrons were in that room, at 1100 pm. This was by far the worst hotel experience Iā€™ve ever had! The hotel was totally misrepresented by Expedia !!

Positives: Nice staff. Reasonably quiet. Had a large tour bus for morning shuttle to airport. Negatives: Understaffed. 45 - 60 minute checkin. They donā€™t answer the phone. Long wait for mini airport shuttle. As the cheapest hotel near the airport, many will suffer my same fate.
