"We stay here every autumn. And we love it ! Staff is amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean and warm. When you want it to be and cold when you want it to be. There's a refrigerator in most every room with a microwave and coffee, and the rooms are beautifully painted and the sheets. The sheets you're going to want to take home with you."

"The location is great, being on the main street a very short walk to the shops or trails. Bikes can be rented at the front desk at a cheaper rate for guests. The whole hotel, including the room, was very clean and comfortable, staff were all very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was great and cozy and the staff can even light a bonfire with smores at your request."

"The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. It was smaller than we expected, but given this is an older building that is how it is. There was no microwave in the room and didn't find out until the 2nd day that there was one in a room to the side of the front desk that guests can use. I was very disappointed in two things: the view and the pillows. I specifically called to ask if the lake view rooms have a full lake view and the staff person said "Yes". What they don't tell you is that a third of your view is the roof of the dock building and the shops below, so your eye is drawn to the roof, not to the lake. The pillows were flat and I asked twice for better pillows. The second time I received moderately better pillows but had to also use the decorative chair pillow as that one had better support. The pool was a comfortable temperature which was a pleasant surprise. The hot tub was fine, but why do these hotel hot tubs always hit the top of your rear and not on your back where it that water massage is needed?"
