"The house was very spacious and in a great location, less than a five-minute drive to Corolla Beach. We spent our 33rd anniversary there, and my wife was especially excited to see the wild horses. Although none came right up to the property, we saw plenty while tailgating on the beach. The host even offered to extend our stay by two complimentary nights. Overall, it was a great stay!"

"I loved the property. Submerged in nature. Was so nice to see ospreys and herons, wild horses everywhere. I loved offroading everywhere, it was so fun. Every turn had a new adventure for me and my dog. The house is tiny but the property is very large. I don't think that should deter anyone. The owners went above and beyond to help me with airing my tires down. They were fantastic hosts. Me and my dog had a great time. "

"The house was everything we needed! Enjoyed the space and all the amenities that came with! Its was very peaceful and quite area! The horses were always around and so cool to see! Only issue we had was the drive on the beach! There was a seal that came on to the beach for several days and was a little tricky to get around at times! But we really enjoyed our time!!!"

"We had an amazing experience at Under the Oaks. The house was clean and comfortable. We used the hot tub nightly and enjoyed making s’mores by the fire pit. The location was AMAZING! We saw wild horses, a seal, a baby turtle and 2 playful otters during our stay. We definitely recommend the adventure that is 4x4ing it along the beach! "

"We overall enjoyed our stay at this house. The layout was great, the inside was clean and comfortable, the amenities were good! Communication with hosts was quick. However, we were disappointed because it was not really spring- ready; we had to wash out the canoes/ kayaks/ paddle boards of hundreds of spiders, wash the outside chairs to be able to use them, and all of the Wii remote batteries were dead with no replacements. Especially since all properties this particular weekend were up-charged due to the Coast Guard Marathon (which is why we were also traveling), it sucked to pay that much money to spend an hour and a half cleaning the advertised amenities. We would still recommend this house since most of the canoes should be good to go and it’s a great relaxing location! "

"Property was easy to get into. Andrew is great to deal with. I forgot my last payment and he texted me to remind me and I was able to pay and not loose my reservation. On key thing, although the listing says 4x4 it was easy for us to overlook the fact that there was an unpaved road on the beach that was required to get to the home. Thank goodness we had 4x4. Couple other things, the rule book in the home mentioned outside access to water for rinsing sand from underneath vehicles, but the outside water wasn’t working. The internet connection mentioned in the book with password, wasn’t working. The network connection listed wasn’t available as listed in the book. Additionally it was mentioned to clean up dog poop or you’ll be charged. We cleaned up so much dog poop that was definitely not from our 17lb Boston terrier. I love this property but there should be more info in the listing. "
