"Absolutely amazing house and property. Being tucked near the end of the road provided for a peaceful and quiet stay. Very relaxing being on the canal and though we did not use the kayaks and pedal boat due to being a very cold weekend, loved the options and would be fun to use during warmer stays. The house was so clean and new. Loved being able to walk on the back decks and enjoy the sights of the canal and the wild horses roaming in the backyard. The wild horses were very active on this road and one day as we were leaving the house, we saw a total of over 20 horses before we even exited the street the house is on. Rick and Casie were wonderful hosts with excellent communication on day of arrival and departure morning. We were in town for the Corolla Christmas Village and the festive touches of a Christmas tree in the home and string lights on the decks added to our Christmas spirit for the weekend. There was even a very cute ornament for each of us to commemorate our weekend at Sound Decisions. When searching for a home, we knew we wanted something clean, quiet, and relaxing with hopeful viewings of the wild horses throughout the stay. This place met and exceeded our expectations and we will be back. "

"The place was quite & cozy and the hot tub was amazing. There were games & books. They really thought if everything. I wish the toaster oven & grill was cleaned prior to our arrival. Pleaae make sure u have a true 4x4 Vehicle and arrive in the daytime...no real roads just or traditional signs just sand dunes everywhere.But I enjoyed being slightly off the grid for a weekend."

"My husband and our 3 yr old son had a wonderful stay. We've been coming to Carova Beach for years and this was definately the nicest house we've stayed at. This was our first time staying on the canal side and my husband enjoyed throwing out a fishing line each morning. The house and location look exactly like pictures. It was clean upon arrival and the upgrades esp the water treatment and outside shower made our stay very enjoyable and relaxing. Diana was very responsive with any questions we had. We will definately be staying here again!"

"The Carte’s were extremely pleased with our stay for the 2025 Labor Day holiday. The house was amazing, clean and Phil was extremely helpful with answering our questions about the area. The best part of our trip was by far the wild horses and the seclusion of the Rusty Crab. We recommend booking a visit at this house and giving it a 10 out of 10!!!"

"Great week in a great house. Quiet and very few others in the area. Whole house is well stocked and set up for ease and comfort. Kitchen had EVERYTHING we could possibly need. Michelle was very responsive and a great host!"

"This VRBO rental in Carova Beach was exactly as described. Check-in was simple, the house was clean along with sheets, towels and blankets. If you know Carova Beach, you should be aware that the water will smell like sulfur. Be sure to bring your own drinking water and any other items you need because there are no shops after leaving Corolla. The power in the kitchen remains faulty, the only outlets functioning in the kitchen are closest to the refrigerator and stove, which was no problem for our stay. No high chair available. Classic coffee pot available! Please list that there is a Gas grill available! The kitchen sink would benefit with a silicone strainer; The current metal one stops the flow of water down the drain unless you lift it. Thank you, we enjoyed your home and our weekend vacation! "
