"Despite undergoing renovations we hardly noticed and really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and had several areas to sit. Location is incredible. Weather was bad but the underground path is nearby connecting you to the subway. Breakfast was fantastic. Several hot options that rotate and good basics. "

"The location of this property is great. Walking distance to great food and shopping. The beds are super comfortable. We stayed in the second suite, there is a long steep stair well to get up to your suite, so if stairs are not a good thing for you, stay in the lower suite. "Worked perfectly for me. I had a single room in the building a few doors down. Simple, yet clean, and a small kitchenette if that is a need. Comfy bed and pillows. My single room had a double bed, so it may work for a couple. A great base to set up camp , and explore that Dundas West neighborhood in Toronto with all the local eateries close by, etc. Price was excellent for accoms in Toronto these days. On my radar for a spring / summer trip down the line. Quiet at night as well as a key system...

"The room is very basic, which is fine, but just not worth the expense. The renovations are very amateur hour, if not hilarious. The toilet seat on the toilet doesn't even fit, so it's not attached. That detail alone tells you how serious of an operation this is. Please note that there is no staff on site whatsoever, so you need to be able to check in remotely and may not get in-person service if you need it. "
