"The room was fine - very spacious. Very friendly staff. Cooked breakast good although if you wanted something smaller or healthier, no prepared fruit or croissants.
Being just outside Lymington, a lovely little town and the New Forest close by, it was a very convenient place to stay"
"Why take your family away and stay in a faceless corporate hotel, cramped into one room, sitting on the beds, when you could be enjoying a lovely quiet rural cottage style family suite! Friendly, welcoming host, tasty continental breakfast - this is a very comfortable, spacious accommodation with all the amenities. The suite was perfect for us, centrally located, just a few minutes walk (no pavement) to the village, with some great eateries. "
"A wonderful relaxing stay, with the comfiest bed ever. The owners are lovely and all needs are catered for. The breakfasts are excellent and the attention to detail is beautiful. Thank you so much, we'd love to come back if you'll have us."

"Nice rooms over a pub.
Stayed here for convenience of getting to the Isle of Wight ferry.
Very helpful staff. Good food and drinks
Traveling with heavy luggage, beware-
No elevator. Staff will help carry it!
Would stay here again. "
"Peaceful and quiet setting I stayed Mon-Fri so can't speak for the busier periods but massive grounds well maintained with extremely attentive, caring and friendly staff members including the Tudor bar staff which were very welcoming upon every visit well done. My room was clean and tidy if in need of an update such a shame because the room had such an outstanding view it could be so much more. Still I had a fantastic 5day stay thank you."
"Great boutique hotel ,staff are young but brilliant, excellent customer service, food top quality both breakfast and dinner.
My only complaint is parking, very frustrating,
when full you are left to sort your own parking, not good. New Forest parking discs should be made available. "
"We loved Britannia House. The property is truly lovely and the service is very personalized. Tobi, the proprietor, was there to welcome us, cooked us breakfast in the house's kitchen, and gave us great recommendations. The first night we were there, it was very hot, but a simple fan took care of things. "
Charming 2 bedroom cottage in Lymington, very close to town, marina & sea walks
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage had everything we needed for the week; beds were very comfortable, a lovely courtyard garden which was a sun trap. It’s also close to all the amenities in Lymington (in walking distance). Richard was an excellent host; gave us concise information on the cottage, local area, dining out options and offered personal help when I experienced a problem with my car on the day of arrival. We would definitely book this cottage again. "
"Great place for a short stay, minor niggles with some cutlery not being clean and heating in the top bedroom not turning on, but everything else was fantastic. Great bedding, super comfy, had everything we needed.
We had the 12 days of Christmas at the Elderflower which was close enough we did not need coats to get there.
Stunning morning watching the sky at sunrise on the balcony too.
Would stay again."
