"Very nice location and eight at the English bay. You can easily do afternoon hike around the beach, walk south to the false creek ferry and hop on the water taxi to Granville island or walk north directly to Stanley park. Beautiful sunset at sunset beach with live music, great summer vibe. Easy Walking to Robson street for shopping and many great eatery options. A bit hot in summer night without air conditioning so expect to use the room fan. Overall a great hotel with full history, beautiful architecture while a bit dated facility."

"This is an amazing hotel. Everything is easily walked are grab thehop on hop off trolly. Perfect location for walking along the sea wall and getting on a cruise ship."

"Great location. Staff was warm and friendly. The hotel restaurant was decent. Breakfast buffet was a bit spendy at $40pp. Same with parking at $47 per night. Appreciated they allowed pets. The rooms were old and dated. Hallway walls marked up, rooms were dated, furnishings worn. For $450 a night; I was expecting something more updated. I guess they are undergoing renovations but not in our area of the hotel."

"Great location!! Close to beach, sea wall walk, Stanley park and any kind of cuisine you could dream of. Walkable to downtown and Vancouver er highlights. The hotel is very clean and quiet, spacious rooms and well appointed, albeit sterile in a way. Perfect for an extended stay equipped with kitchen. Bathroom products are luxe. My only complaint is the bed is noisy. I can’t exactly describe how or where the noise is coming from but I heard my husband up all night even though I wear earplugs to sleep. Maybe the mattress is protected with plastic? Maybe the bed needs a rug under it? The staff is super friendly and helpful. Very lovely. Overall great value and definitely worth a try. I would stay again."
