We do keep the eggs and sausage in the same heating unit, but they remain separated by different containers. As for the variety of options, we would like to remind our guests that the Best Western Norwalk Inn is a hotel, and not a restaurant. While we do offer breakfast as an amenity, we do not have the facilities of a restaurant, nor can we provide the same level of options as a restaurant can. We do have a multitude of options for breakfast, such as: pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, chorizo sausage, cereal (3 types with at least 1 gluten free option), muffins, bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, English muffins, coffee, tea, juices, milk, etc. Additionally, we also have stations to build your own breakfast sandwiches, yogurt parfait, and oatmeal breakfast bowl. However, there is a limit as to what a Hotel can offer for breakfast. We do appreciate our guests suggestions, and welcome them as we have found other viable options for variety for breakfast through guests before.I am thankful that your stay with us saw no issues other than with our breakfast. Dear Yvonne,Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your stay. My staff and I want to offer our sincere apology for your experiences during your stay with us.You are correct in that we are a 100% non-smoking hotel. We inform all of our guests this during check-in and enforce the policy by charging guests an extensive fee for smoking in our rooms. If someone does smoke in our rooms, we have to take the room out-of-service, deep clean all the surfaces, launder all the linens, clear the filters on the Air Conditioner, as well as air the room out for at least 24-hours (longer, if necessary). I am really sorry that we rented you a room that still smelled like smoke. We have pulled the room from service and will have it deep cleaned again. I also had a meeting with my housekeeping staff to make sure they are following the proper protocols and procedures when cleaning our guest rooms.Additionally, while there is occasionally some road noise, it is not too overbearing. However, if you are sensitive to road noise, we have rooms on our third floor, facing our pool. Those rooms tend to be considerably quieter.Again, I want to offer my sincere apologies that we were unable to provide you with exceptional service and accommodations during your stay with us.
