Very disappointing and misleading experience
This property was extremely disappointing and did not match the photos or description at all. The conditions were poor and felt uninhabitable. The listing is misleading—this is not a hotel or an apartment, but a very small room inside a house, which was not clearly communicated.
The check-in process was very poorly managed. We did not receive any email or instructions on how to access the property. Additionally, the address listed on Hotels.com was incorrect, and it took a long time to locate the house. I had to call the contact multiple times just to find the place and understand how to gain entry.
When we finally received the keys, the entrance door was jammed and extremely difficult to open. Inside, there was a strong, unpleasant smell, and the overall condition of the property felt unsafe and very poorly maintained. The house appeared shady and uncomfortable.
We stayed for no more than 10 minutes, only long enough to leave our bags. After returning later from London New Year’s Eve celebrations, we immediately collected our belongings and left due to the severe smell and unacceptable conditions. We did not use any amenities.
To make matters worse, the owner was impolite that they refused to refund the monies. Overall, this was a very negative experience, and I would not recommend this property to anyone.
