"hotel was well situated in a quiet location with restaurants nearby. Rooms were very clean, but small, taking a Shower is a challenge in the small shower cubicle but plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable . we were only left half a toilet roll which is being a bit tight! overall for an overnight stay on a budget the hotel was good and I would stay there again "

"We stayed a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a short walk to the main streets of Amboise but in a quiet location. The lounge is a beautiful place to have a drink before dinner and the fireplace was running the first night we were there. Our room (5) was huge and very pretty two bedrooms, a day bed, two bathrooms, but both bathrooms were in the smaller bedroom (and only one had a toilet). Not sure that would work for two couples traveling together but probably fine for a family with...

"We had a lovely couple of nights here. So quiet and relaxing, a true luxurious and romantic place. We had the lodge with the hot tub which had gorgeous views of the pond (number 17). Slight issue with horse flies when walking to and from the main area through the woods but they didn’t like insect repellent so that worked well. "If I could, I would give the hotel ten stars for service. It was our best service experience during our trip. The staff (especially Natalie) went out of their way to anticipate and accommodate our wishes. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent and filled with tasty surprises. "A little hard to find but is a treasure! Parking in back and very nice gardens and pool although it was raining the whole time of our stay so couldn’t enjoy. Staff was incredibly friendly, helpful especially Greg. Our room was spacious, clean with courtyard view and all amenities. Dinner at restaurant was totally worth it! Great food, ambiance and presentation. Would highly recommend this place!"
