Location was excellent. Breakfast very good. Pools were well maintained. Staff very friendly and eager to please. My only complaint was the bed had been broken and was very uncomfortable and noisy resulting in poor sleep.

Very run down, dirty. Rooms are mostly, bathrooms rusty and mould. Water either running cold or extremely boiling hot. Phone in room not connected. No pool towels or bath towels, when you get them, they are damp and smelly. Would not recommend staying here!!!! Better places to stay nearby for the same price!!

Everything was acceptable, staff are wonderful and friendly. Bathrooms need attention . Could do with a fresh coat of paint actually the whole complex could do with a good paint. Especially to highlight the beautiful Balinese sculptures around the complex. Awesome position to access beach and shops.

Loved the location and Balinese style but in urgent need of basic maintenance and upkeep. Cleaning poor with even the light and power points blackened. Power points and other hanging off the walls with exposed wiring causing me at least one electric shock.

The only thing that is good about the Melasti is the location. Gardens are over grown, everything is dirty and there were ants crawling all over the disgusting breakfast that looked like it had been sitting there for 2 years.

The Melasti Beach Resort & Spa is a great hotel to stay at considering the price per night. Inside the room 110 is quite large and spacious. Living room with separate bedroom and bathroom with 1 shower and 1 bathtub/shower. The property grounds are immaculate and clean. The only negative thing I can say is about the bathroom. The water does not drain well in the sink or either of the shower areas. The water pressure is about as good as you can expect being in Bali but it did work well the entire visit. The water from the showers will get all over the floor each time you take a shower so an extra towel or 2 can do the job. The room was cleaned at excatly the same time each day around 11am. The property and the staff are all great and make your stay very easy going. Very easy check in and check out. The hotel goes all the way back to legian beach and has every you can imagine at the front of the property off Jl padma utara so you really can walk anywhere you want to. Very accessible location and Im sure i will always go back to this Hotel in the future.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay over new years Dec 24. Very convenient location for walking, close to beach, shopping and food options. Facilities were great, we all enjoyed the pools. The rooms were spacious but quite dated. Overall would come back again!
