Stayed overnight for the footy. Easy check-in with lovely staff. Room service food was great. Lovely young girl at reception, whose name escapes me, was very helpful in arranging my transfer back to the airport when I couldn't get a shuttle to the hotel at the right time to catch my flight. Nice clean room which was quiet & comfortable.

I had an amazing recent experience at Waratah on York Hotel! The cleanliness and safety measures in place were truly commendable, creating a comfortable and worry-free environment. The friendly staff added an extra layer of warmth to the stay, making it a memorable and enjoyable experience.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Only one tiny problem when one side of the electric blanket didn't work but then that can happen anywhere. There were extra blankets so we were able to be warm. We reported it and management were going to fix it straight away. Great atmosphere and facilities, and we enjoyed the "away from the city" environment. It is nice there are still affordable places to stay for families.

I was not sure what to expect but I was delighted to check into a room that is clean, comfortable and has a beautiful view. Was really happy with everything and communication was great. The only downside was I had to carry my luggage up 2 flight of stairs and it was hard when you travel alone and had a heavy luggage. If I knew, I would request for ground floor. But other than that, I am pretty happy and would definitely recommend this place.

I recently stayed here for 3 nights. I looked at many hotels in Launceston and chose Sebel.
The room was great. Very Spacious, modern design, comfy large bed. Check in and out was a matter of a few minutes only with friendly happy staff. My first choice for any return visits.

Nice, quiet hotel with good room facilities and very comfortable bed. Good TV, iPod dock, shower, spa bath, well stocked mini-bar, large room (we got a free upgrade to a city view), dressing gowns, toiletries, chairs and table, fridge, coffee and tea facilities and parking on site. It was previously a convent and the hotel has good size rooms all refurbished to a good modern standard with the exterior still retaining original character.
We have stayed before and will return again as it's...
