"Great place to stay in Lamai. It is a bit of a walk to town (20min), but there are great places to have a meal or a drink nearby. The staff are awesome and the resort is well equipped. I had a peaceful stay and appreciated the overall quality of the resort. I was traveling solo, but could definitely say it would be a nice place to spend a romantic getaway. "

"For the price this place cannot be beat. Amazing location near night market (but I prefer fresh market- even closer and cheaper). Nice pool and 5 min walk to the beach. They will give you towels but it’s also easy to walk along the beach and snag a lounger and umbrella at a bar or resort if you buy a drink or two. Perfectly clean and comfy staff was amazing!"

"A surprisingly excellent stay! Given the price, we had low expectations, but were greeted by a spotlessly clean twin room. The shared shower and toilet facilities were equally spotless, with lukewarm water and decent pressure. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A rooftop seating area, reached by a steep black ladder, made a great spot for morning coffee. We couldn’t fault it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Note that air conditioning incurs an additional charge."

"A very quiet secluded resort, right on the beach. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished, no TV, just kick back and relax. Pool situated over looking the beach. The beach is shallow, at low tide you'll see it's not great for swimming, but the pool is spot on. No reception at the moment, assuming due to the quiet season, but staff were ready enough to get a hold of when required. Mattresses are normal for the region. Quite firm.
