Good beachfront location and in central area of Lamai. Close walking distance to many restaurants, bars and shops. Nice pool area and restaurant with beach view. Food was of good standard and they serve a buffet breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall a decently priced family hotel option.

Staff were wonderful, cleaning in room could be better, but was passable. Breakfast was ok, a mixed variety for everyone, bacon and (hash browns, when available) were always cold though, egg station was great, always freshly cooked to your liking. Plenty variety of fruit, salad, juices and yoghurt to choose from too. View from the restaurant was awesome. the free sunbeds were great, and never full. Overall would definitely go back. We had superior bungalow A101, would recommend this one as you have a seaview and directly opposite the restaurant/ bar.. never noisy though, but super convenient location.

We loved this place. Right on the beach, quiet but still close to shops and restuarants. We extended our stay by 4 nights. Very relaxing. We stayed in the little bungalow room, you have your own balcony and garden view. They are older but clean, spacious, good value and the garden is lovely. The only downside was that they have 2 large jetski businesses on either side, so its kind of on an industrial scale, about 20 skis, can be intrusive to your quiet beach time as they reel them in and out, maintain them onsite and the operators seem to spend a lot of time "testing" them at full speed. Usually while guests have breakfast. Other than that it is great value, fantastic location. Would book again.

Die Zufahrt auf das Ressort ist nicht so schön, nicht genutzte Gebäude und Grundstücke, teils vermüllt. Das Resort selbst ist aber sehr schön gelegen. Als Unterkunft werden Hotelzimmer oder Bungalows angeboten. Wir hatten ein Hotelzimmer, die Ausstattung ist Standard und es ist sauber. Allerdings sind einige Einrichtungsgegenstände in die Jahre gekommen und könnten mal erneuert werden. Die Hotelanlage gefiel mir sehr gut, viel natürliches Grün und auch viele Kokospalmen als Schattenspender. Der Pool und der Strand ist sauber und nicht überlaufen. Das Personal überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn man den Strand entlang geht und sich andere Hotelanlagen ansieht, so gehört das Coconut Beach Resort sicherlich zu den Besten an diesem Strandabschnitt. Nicht so gut gefiel mir die Jetski-Vermietung direkt am Hotelstrand und die Händler-/innen die permanent versuchen ihre Waren oder Dienstleistungen an den Mann oder die Frau zu bringen. Wobei sie dabei nicht aufdringlich sind und auch freundlich bleiben wenn man abgelehnt hat. Kurz gesagt, für das teure Koh Samui bietet das Coconut Beach Resort ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Die Bungalow lagen in einer gepflegten, grüngewachsen Anlage. Die Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber es war noch ok. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Leider gab es in den Bungalow wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten, hier musste man schon kreativ sein. Lage sehr schön, direkt am Strand. Leider ist links und rechts ein Jetskyverleih. Wer Ruhe sucht ist da falsch am Platz. Im Hinterland viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Einen tollen Nachtmarkt gibt es auch, wo das Essen gut war.

The breakfast was surprisingly good with lots of options. My original room was on the first floor, it had a horrible smell like sewage. They moved me to a bungalow room which was a lot smaller; and really poor AC. I wasn’t in the room a lot so it wasn’t horrible. The beach wasn’t bad, just not ideal for swimming because of some large waves. The location was the win, I had access to shopping, lots of restaurants and I thought the price to use ride shares and go to other parts of Samui didn’t make the hotel a total flop considering I wanted beach access with calm waters. If you want calm beaches better bet to stay in Chewang Noi or Chewang North.

udmærket hotel til prisen. Beliggenheden er enestående, lige ved stranden og samtidig tæt på tonsvis af butikker og restauranter, men ingen larm! Selve værelserne er meget basic, lidt hård seng og ingen pudemenu, men vi klarede os. Aircon er rigtig god og larmer minimalt. Personalet er hjælpsomt. Morgenmaden er alt for dyr! 450 bath pr. person er den absolut ikke værd. Vi gik 100 meter hen ad stranden og spiste til 100 bath i stedet. Der er ikke meget for børn på stedet, hvilket var skønt for os der er +60 og ikke gider skrigende unger og larm ved poolen. Vi kunne godt finde på at komme igen, mest pga. prisen og beliggenheden.

Rommet var rent og bra. Senga var ok. Personalet var flinke og høflige. Ikke strandutsikt fra rommet mitt, men stranda var like ved. Frokosten var forholdsvis dyr med 450 bath, bodde på et annet hotell på samme strand også, der tok de 300 bath for samme type frokost. Transfer til flyplassen måtte jeg betale selv, 600 bath.

we liked the location of the place: you are only a 5 Min walk from the Lamai night market and lots of restaurants. we loved the beach access and they have their own loungers: every time we came, we could find a nice spot in the shade. They have a very nice pool, very clean. The breakfast was great and every day some different foods. the Staff was very friendly and helpful - that was really outstanding. We had a room with a sea view - so it was on the top floor but nice in the shade starting at noon, so perfect to enjoy the balcony. They also rent scooters. So what was not so our favorite: we are non-smokers, and as the room is a non-smoking - if you have neighbours they smoke on their balcony and you smell it, nearly every day when we were relaxing at the beach someone started smoking near us and we got the smoke up - which is very annoying (especially since most of them through their cigarette buts in the sand - very inconsiderate). the beach itself has nice soft white sand, but right near us where two jet ski rentals - so when we went in for a swim: you were literally swimming between the jet skis - which takes a bit away from the "beautiful island beach feeling". the town itself is very smelly, if you walk you always smell the sewer, there is a lot of garbage, the river is very dirty and smelly - and even on the nightmarket - you get smoked on everywhere. We went to check out some more remote beaches and have to say even some of them had bottles and garbage.

Staff were nice and helpful, the room was old, mouldy and very dirty - we had to clean ourselves on the first day wasn't gonna touch anything. We had to wipe surfaces, and disinfect the bathroom, lot's of hair on the floor. We stayed 4 nights. The room was spacius but uncomfortable, the bed was ok. Luckily the beach was nice, with sunbeds, water was great for swim in the waves, beach restaurant was pleasant enough.
