"The owner was there to check us in, which was very convenient after walking 25 kilometers. She even had our luggage in our room when we arrived. Great treat!
"We stayed as a treat at the end of the camino de santiago - we were welcomed, shown to our room and able to book at the restaurant for dinner. The half board option allows you to book at either restaurant (reis being the traditional one) and order a starter, main and desert (drinks not included). Breakfast too was a feast with slots for when to go so it wasnt crowded. Brilliant location, understated and such an experience to stay in Spains oldest hotel! "
