"Stayed here with friends. Easy access and check-in. We enjoyed their complimentary drinks, Nintendo Switch, Netflix and the bath. This place is a great option for a group. Their little gift also made us feel welcomed. The only regret is that we booked one night - definitely will come back and stay longer next time. "

"We really enjoyed staying in a real house in a real neighborhood for our trip to Kyoto. There was plenty of room for our small family, and we felt we had a more authentic visit to this beautiful city. A couple things to note for those who read reviews is that the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and narrow, and I worried for my husband navigating them in the dark at night. "My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. The property is in an area away from the city where we could get a taste of everyday life in Japan, so we were delighted every time we walked to and from the train stations. "Great place to stay in Kyoto!"

"Another fun property for my family. We were delightfully surprised at the coziness of the space. Had all the essentials we needed. The area itself is not too far from Shinsaibashi station but with that being said, a 20 minute walk is worth the sight of all the shops and stands along the way!"
