TOTAL HOPELESS HOTEL SCAM BE CAREFUL. DONT BOOK .

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THIS DIRTY AND FILTHY HOTEL . THE PICTURES GIVEN IN THE WEBSITE DOESNT MATCH IN REAL. BED MATRESSSES ARE WORN OUT, BATHROOM SINKS ARE BROKEN ETC. I BOOKED HERE FOR TWO DAYS BUT I CHECKED OUT THAT SAME DAY ONLY BECUASE OF THESE MENTIONED ISSUES .

Staying at the Gemini Star was a terrible experience. We booked a 3-person room and were taken to a room which reeked of sewage, hadn’t had a full cleaning, and had a mysterious brown hand print on the wall. We asked to switch due to the smell and we were taken upstairs to a different room that smelled of cigarettes and had stained sheets. There were cigarettes on the patio. As 3 young females, we also felt unsafe by the area and some of the staff when we asked for things like more water bottles. Would never stay here again.

Was chosen for location. Had pool and aircon rooms. Older rooms need refurbishment but newer rooms very good. Staff pleasant to deal with. Restaurant attached as well as small sports bar and atms. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well as market street to buy all the things you don't need also mini mart across the road and beach is 10 minutes walk. Motorcycle hire is also available. Only downside is rooms adjoining disco next-door can be noisy... Unless you are in the disco. Price for accommodation, food and drinks all at budget end.

You get what you pay for here

Location and building are great but the floors and walls of my room were very very dirty. Bed was comfy but the shower was a trickle and almost unshowerable, I don’t doubt this problem would vary room to room. (Room 209) Pool and restaurant on site were nice. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Gemini star - more like gemini 'ONE' star! I would highly suggest booking anywhere but this place, you would be better in a hostel. Upon arrival we were shocked at how different the place looks to the photos. The room was not clean at all marks everywhere (on sheets, walls, towels) and was not cleaned once during our stay - we had to beg over and over for towels and another roll of toilet paper. The hotel has a huge problem with mosquitoes and animals - you'd be lucky to not catch dengue fever, and you will be woken up by stray cats fighting on the balconies every night, not to mention the constant bass sounding from the nightclub next door. The hotel had an elderly man working there who would make us pay cash to him everyday as a 'fine' for using the aircon pump in the room, we later found out when asking another member of staff that the man was scamming us and just pocketing the money. He then became aggressive and practically chased us out of the room on our last day. They did not have a big pool - only seats for four people around the pool at one time, and to be honest, the pool was full of floating specimens - be careful. The location is close, but there is much better for the same price in the area. Also, if you like being harassed for money every-time you go to and from the hotel - then this is the place for you. Taxi drivers won't go near the street so be prepared to do A LOT of walking. with your bags. Don't go near the breakfast unless you want to get Bali belly.

I liked every thing about his property as it was central, and I was able to rent a bike outside the property for 70K rupiah a day. But the only one thing that wasn't good was we were there for one day and the day, an on that day they had people that were painting the walls, and were loud and playing music till past midnight, which made it hard to sleep. Besides that, would come back again

After travelling for 5 months around Asia in hostels we ‘treated’ ourselves to a half decent hotel for Christmas, or so we thought. Our room shook EVERY single night from what sounded like a nightclub in our room until 3am, it was unbearably loud so we hardly slept. What made it worse was the weird holes/windows around the top of the room which let in so much noise! The nightclub finished at 3am & a group came back and went into the pool, shouting all night until around 6am- no security/staff told them to stop. Our room never got cleaned like it says it does- we had to ask for toilet roll a lot as no top up. I don’t even think the room was cleaned when we arrived as there was stuff in the fridge- which was broken- stuff on the shower floor- shower head also broken- and even a cockroach chilling in the shower. It said free breakfast on our booking- reason why we booked this place over others- but to our surprise we we constantly challenged over this! On our last morning after having 3 free breakfasts we were challenged yet again because the manager didn’t believe our booking and we were told we had to pay even though we had proof. Pool looks nice if you keep your head above water but as soon as you go under you see loads of flem etc floating around you which was gross! If you don’t want any sleep, breakfast, cleanliness and a lot of hassle then this place is for you. I honestly don’t know how it’s had good reviews! For us it was horrific and we know never to come back!

立地がとてもいいホテル

ホテルはレギャンストリートまで徒歩３分。クタビーチまで徒歩10分。 立地はとても良いです。 ホテルの向かいにはレストランもあり、コンビニもあり、困ることはありません。 ホテルでは、安い宿泊費なのに朝食まで付いています。ホテルの部屋は、一番安い部屋を選んだので、エアコンなし、冷蔵庫なしでしたが、涼しかったのでエアコン要らずです。バスタオルが付いていたので助かりました。部屋の綺麗さ快適さを求めないなら十分でした。寝るだけって割り切れば値段も安いし十分です。スタッフは日本語一切通じませんが、英単語並べれば通じます。フリーWi-Fiもちゃんと繋がるし、プールも綺麗でした。 また機会があれば利用したいです。
