Bintang Bali Resort

8/10 Good

"The resort grounds were impeccably kept and the location was great for local restaurants and bars. Staff were very friendly like most places in Bali and when asked went out of their way to accommodate requests. Only negatives I had was there was virtually no service around the pool area if you wanted something to eat or drink and had to track someone down to get service. Also, the food was pretty average for breakfast/lunch. Our group decided not to try dinner at the resort because of this. Overall this resort is 3.5-4 stars at best having stayed at all the resorts north of the Bintang Bali having much better service and food."

Hard Rock Hotel Bali

"staff were really friendly and welcoming. Better for younger families I would say. Breakfast was fantastic. Nice selection of activities for young children. Only down side is this is a pretty noisy hotel in the evening. Often families coming back around late and we had a room next to us that was obviously a joining room for another family but they were very loud and it almost felt like they were in the same room. We really enjoyed our stay but it was a little noisy at night. If you want a peaceful relaxing evening and have older children I would recommend a villa stay instead."

"The room was amazing, overlooking the pool with a bath on the Balcony. After a very long journey, the watermelon ice cream at check in was so good. Massive thank you to Yuli & Ryan for my "Retirement Gift" on arrival. The breakfast was outstanding, so much choice and everything was lovely. The doughnut wall particularly nice!! The staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble."
