Overall, it was a good stay apart from couple of small issues. The hot water went out on our last day so we had a cold shower before leaving to catch our train (very invigorating).
The apartment was very small and looked quite different than what was on the photos, I cannot complain that much because I got a good deal, but that was a bit disappointing and misleading.
What I did not like is plastic sheets on the beds. I can understand why they would do it, but at least should be topped by a thick underlay so you don't sleep almost directly on plastic. We had to take them off as that was too much. After that the beds were comfortable.
I wish I had read about hotel sauna, I would had brought my swimmers to take advantage of it.
We were in the apartment at the back and it was super quiet, but I don't think it would have been an issue even in the front apartments as the street was not busy. We walked from the railway station and it was really close, I think taking a taxi would have been an overkill unless you would have too much luggage.
Overall, a nice space, lovely, helpful staff, convenience store just next door and great restaurants within few minutes walk. Check out a little place called "Cudawianki" for food and free walking tours both close to Barbican .
