"Good if you get a bargain but not great if you pay higher rates. I would not rate this hotel 5 star more like a UK 3.4- 4 star max. Our first night we were given a very noisy room near to the road. The staff were good and changed us to much quieter room which we appreciated. The spa staff were lovely, but it’s located near a busy road which you could hear beyond the music. Our complimentary Thai massages were very good. The breakfast buffet had a good range and variety of options but I would say expect average - good depending on what your preferences are. For the rates we paid we were disappointed as expected more for our money. We would have accepted conditions etc if we’d got a bargain. However the staff were responsive and helpful. Easy access to Fisherman’s Village and tours. "

"Lovely restful and quiet room but limited sea view, but truly loved my stay. The view from beach is amazing and lovely pool areas for families. Hospitality was top notch! Excellent service and kindness from all staff!"

"The rooms are spacious but somewhat outdated, with limited storage space for clothes. The window frames are wooden and have gaps, which allowed mosquitoes to enter the room; we had to block them with tissues. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of fresh fruits."

"Nice hotel although it’s showing its age, could do with updating. So don’t overpay for it, seems to always have discount which is still probably more than you should be paying. Staff were great and rooms were clean."

"Overall was an amazing stay. Staff are friendly and the property is well kept. Our ocean view pool villa was just what we wanted. Only 2 things that drop the rating to 4 stars instead of 5 1) wait time to get some items from housekeeping took almost 1hr (just 2 beach towels) - other services like calling a buggy or room service was very prompt and speedy 2) there was a wedding but the notification did not mention anything about loud music from the restaurant. (Only mentioned loud noise from a firework show at 1030pm - which was fine as we expected it) It went on for about 3 hrs. We could here all the music and lyrics clearly from our villa. We understand it is a wedding and a happy occassion but was not expecting the music (if any) to be that loud. If we knew we would have made arrangements to go out to town that night. It did ruin our night and was very unpleasant. We also could barely hear the TV with the music playing. We were about 3 or 4 villa ls away from the Star restaurant where the wedding was held Front office staff was nice and offered an apology meal but it doesnt amount to the 1 night value we lost to enjoy our night and villa. Hopefully the next wedding wont effect the next guests Other than that..amaIng property, great views and nice staff"
