"If you want to feel like you are starring in your own movie in a charming English village, book Well Cottage! The cottage is situated in the most perfect location. I did not have a car. So I spent mornings on long walks and then a nice lunch in the village. "This place was very charming and in an excellent location. very charming, clean, etc. The only things to watch out for are: The stair are small and steep. It was fine for us, but an older person of someone without great balance may not want to stay there. Because of the location (in a charming old village) it was hard to find when we arrived. It was fine, but you you need to arrive after dark make arrangements to have the host meet you."

"So much love for this rustic cottage! Caroline has created a little piece of heaven. It was the perfect location and the hot tub was an incredible extra that made a very hectic few days relaxing. "First of all, Kay was absolutely lovely and was so flexible with some of our travel mess ups and delays. Thank you Kay! Second - have been to Cotswolds several times, I would say this is one of the best locations as far as being out but in - it was literally minutes down the road from Stratford and then driving to other towns was very convenient. We didn’t really end up with much time at the property but the little we were there I would definitely come back! It was so quaint and Cotswoldish!...

"Becky’s cottage is the epitome of Cotswolds accommodation, extremely welcoming and cosy and a true home from home. Becky was super responsive to any messages I sent and I’d highly recommend this property. The area is also lovely to explore. I will absolutely be back!"

"Lovely property, just the right size. Perfect location for strolling into town for shopping, restaurants etc. Plush bath & hand towels, well equipped kitchen. Could have provided small body wash lotions, shampoo and conditioners in the bathroom for guest use, but that’s a more minor point. A couple of plates & mugs were already chipped prior to our arrival, so that should be looked after better, prior to guest arrival. Didn’t communicate with the property manager, so gave a 1 star rating there"

"We really liked the cottage, it was perfect for us as two friends together. We really appreciated the little extras that were left. It was very quiet although central to Lechlade. Parking was in the street but we found somewhere each day for two cars. Highly recommend this cottage"

"Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."
