"While our room itself was very nice, clean and fresh, and everything in it worked well (hot tub, fireplace), we were disappointed at check-in. After we had processed and paid our full room amt, then the desk clerk let us know "sorry. Our pool is not going at this time". I wish they had told us this BEFORE taking our payment so we could have requested a courtesy discount. Also, we learned that the "free breakfast" was just bare bones minimum food, and it would cost us an extra $8.00 each if we wanted eggs, etc. Upon checkout, another desk attendant ("Heather") totally lacked any customer service qualities. She did not look directly at us, ask how our stay had been, and didn't smile once. She is not suited for that position being so cold and rude. Not a nice end at all. "

"The room was really humid and stuffy and had a musty smell upon first entry of the room. After turning on the AC/fan it was fine. Looked clean at the start but after being in the room for a few hours we noticed a couple things. The bed sheets and blanket had a few stains, and there were several ants crawling on the dresser beside the TV. Other than that it was a fine stay for one night."

"Didnt try the breakfast. Great location, lots to walk to. Rooms are very outdated and not the cleanest. I cleaned the room when we checked in . Shower floor had rust staining. In room ACs are very dusty when you turn it on. Price is great and beds are cozy. Pillows could do with replacing. Will stay again. "
