April birthday get away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is truly right across the street from a great snorkeling spot. Within close proximity to other Kona sights. The condo was clean and well stocked with all you need including beach towels, chairs, snorkeling gear, and much more. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you need as well.

Great Condo and Location

This property was performed our stay. Just far enough away for the traffic areas but close enough if we wanted to run into town for shopping or eating out. Love the pool and beach access.

IT'S GREAT TIME

There is great plese in kahaluu. very close beach. A beautiful sea can be seen from the balcony. Be sure to go to the balcony in the sunset.

Excellent owner communication

The location is amazing and the unit is very nicely laid out. The owner was prompt and responsive. Outside the unit is an outdoor shower perfect for getting all the sand and salt off after a fun beach day.

Great VRBO on the big island! James, Hee, and Britt made sure everything was taken care of. Extremely responsive to initial questions via email and then upon arrival via text. The condo has everything you could want and the interior is well appointed. The beach accessories were awesome to have...saved us $$$ vs renting them! Will definitely utilize again if we come back! 😃🤙🏽

Great location

The location was great. Unit has everything you could need for a family ( high chair / pack n play / pool gear for infants and kids/ floaties and life jackets/ snorkel gear for children and adults/ beach gear / cooler / etc. Well stocked kitchen with all the appliances and good pans. Beds were ok but cotton sheets would make it better since memory foam runs hot. The few complaints I have I fixed myself and I would stay here again. The unit is outdated and dark but the beauty of the beach and sunset across the street made everything better.

HARD TO GIVE A REVIEW AFTER BEING CANCELED LAST MONTH WITHOUT A REFUND.

We liked this place except for the usual quirks that baby boomers don't usually deal with like no key to the pool, changing the pool key to a lock box code without notification. A/C didn't work the last day.

Seniors beaware

Ground floor description is not accurate. There is a flight of stairs down to the unit. The ONE TV is not a smart TV and requires 3 remotes to operate. The thermostat is either controlled remotely or broken. It kept turning completely off and trying to reset itself. Messages to the owner/property manager about these issues went unanswered.

Prime location!

The sunset views are incredible! Beach front access to one of the best snorkeling beaches in America. The condo was fully equipped with everything we needed including snorkeling gear. Checking in was a bit of a challenge. Our code wasn’t working. The owner did answer right away and helped us with the process. Checking in instructions and a last minute “security deposit “ was confusing. Pool and hot tub were very nice! Would stay here again and again

I would not recommend

Never received check in instructions so had to contact Danielle from the airport to get them. AC not working so my husband spent 2 hours on a sunday fixing it instead of enjoying vacation. Meanwhile, i called and texted Danielle multiple times and was ignored for over 24 hours. AC was the top reason for choosing this condo so very disheartening to not have it with no response. A day later we found out the washer wasnt working. Yet another majn reason for choosing the condo. Finally heard from Danielle and was told someone would come 2 days later to look at washer. Was told washer couldnt be fixed so had to buy extra beach and bath towels and had dirty clothes instead of clean going to next island. Place not super clean. Hair dryer didnt work. We are NOT complainers or hard to please but i woujd NOT recommend this condo. Was told communication was due to a new "system" but yet contact called me back at the airport?? Was given a small refund for hassle but was denied a reasonable refund for all of the hqssle. I just dont want anyone else to have same experience so renter beware!

Perfection...

This condo was perfect & accurately described how it was across the street from a snorkeling beach... and lanai/pool looked out to the beach/ocean too. I also appreciated how quiet the area was, felt local & not touristry-even though many of us were most likely vacationing. Also, close distance to grocery, restaurants, etc. Bonus, the property aslo had plenty of beach towels, bodyboards & watersocks that we usedmore. I'd recommend & return in a heartbeat.

Dream location

We loved being able to walk to the snorkeling beach in 2 minutes for fantastic fish, a turtle, and even a reef shark (who had no interest in the people— a very safe shark!). Parking was easy, laundry facilities in the unit, a very easy kitchen, comfortable beds, etc.
