    Sea Village reflects the tranquil beauty of the Big Island. The resort is centrally located 1 mile from restaurants and shops on Famous Ali'i Drive.

    Air Conditioning is only available in the Living Room & Master Bedroom as Portable AC units. There is no AC unit in the Guest Twin Bedroom.

    The pool area is located beside the sea wall, so guests can enjoy a peaceful swim just steps away from the crashing surf. Spa pool, Communal BBQ area and Tennis Court available for guest use!

    Kona town is just a short drive from Sea Village Kona. Kona town offers a large choice of restaurants, stores and art galleries. Most of the Big Island activities depart from Kona town.

Beautiful location just 5 min south of the main Kona Village. Gorgeous sea and garden views and lovely furnishings in this condo. The portable ac units work but we’re on timers so overnight cooling (esp in the main living area) was a challenge. Not terrible but just be aware. Loved the pool and hot tub but wish the evening hours were till 10, not 9pm. Helpful hosts communicate via text with virtual check in or in-person if desired. Would def stay here again. Do yourself a favor and stop by Green Flash coffee in the morning. Delicious!!!

Nice and comfortable stay

Our stay was comfortable. Everything was clean. A mile walk to restaurants and shops so the location was good. View from the patio was nice. Overall a good choice while we were in Kona.

Beautiful & Convenient

This location is absolutely perfect. Walking distance to the restaurants and bars. Easy drive to grocery store and Kona airport. Definitely recommend to go to the pool area to see the sunset. And if looking for what’s around to do, look at the notebook in the living room area. I highly recommend a stay here.

The condo was beautifully equipped for our stay, especially when we compared it to our fellow travelers' condos. The only item missing was a serrated bread knife. It was comfortably furnished.

The floors have no insulation and you hear every footstep above you. We stayed 16 days and was woken up from sound before 6: AM every single morning. Nice pool area, hot tub had issues most days. The next guest walked in on us using the Dropbox key 4 days early. I would recommend for very deep sleepers not using sofa bed.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was about what I expected based on the description. It is dated, the sofa bed is broken and the kitchen, while well supplied, is full of old pots and pans. The same is true of the beds and linens. The table and chairs on the deck are bar height which for short people and mobility challenged people a problem to use. Unfortunately during our stay the pool was out of order so I cannot comment on it. The property management team was great. Super friendly and responsive. I encourage the unit owner to invest in some updates to improve the experience.

Great Place to stay in Kona

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here 5 nights after a 3 night stay in the Kona Village right next door. This place has a larger pool area, bbqs and picnic tables in a communal area in the middle with sunset views. You can also see the sunset from the balcony in the room! We received a small gift bag with some coffee and travel essentials in the room. Management was attentive and we even got locked out one evening and someone arrived within 20 mins to let us back in for a charge. It's pretty near downtown Kona, but not walking distance. The condo is quite large with 2 different air conditioning units that was nice for our stay because it was pretty warm. Great room with a lot of nice amenities in the room. Make sure you look in all the drawers because we found the guide book that I purchased in one of the drawers at the end of our stay!

Reviewer Comments: Great location, the grounds were very nice, but when we arrived the temp in the condo was 85 degrees, there are only 2 floor A/C units in the condo, and they struggled to pull the temp down very fast, and they have a TIMER on them to shut off, this made our first night very uncomfortable temp wise. My son moved to the couch just to have some relief but still barely slept. We opened up the sofa bed the next night and it was broken . Overall the condo needs a good update on the inside. Would not stay there again and would not recommend, there are better places.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property overall was very nice. It was on the water but without beach access. Very good common areas with gas BBQs, tables, lawn and pool area. The unit itself was clean but dated. It was described as having A/C but none of the units in this complex had central or window units. Instead, this one had two portable A/C units, one in the living room and another in one of the two bedrooms. The living room unit was too small to do much cooling. Sleeping at night was uncomfortably warm. The bedroom without A/C was almost unsleepably warm. We tried sleeping in the living room but the bed frame in the convertible sofa was broken and unusable. The unit was supplied with an inflatable double mattress which we deployed in the living room instead. It didn’t ruin our vacation, but it made it less than comfortable at night.

The good - the overall property is well maintained and there were staff around everyday cleaning the bbq area, maintaining the pool, and maintaining the grounds. The unit 3203 was generally clean and well stocked. The Air conditioning worked well. The bad - There were no firm pillows for sleeping. They were all really soft. The bed in the master bedroom is not very comfortable. I have read other complaints about people hurting themselves on the wooden bed frame base and I was no different. The carpet runner on the floor from the door to the kitchen wasn't very clean. The sliding door to get to the patio did not slide very easily. Sometimes it required two hands to get it to move. The ugly - there wasn't anything ugly

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This would be a 10/10 rental if it were not for the AC. Beautiful grounds, all the amenities, super clean. The 4 hour timer on the AC makes sleep a nightmare. You wake up baking and have to turn back on the AC. There is also no AC in the kids room which made them have to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. We also had to spend the afternoon waiting for a washing machine replacement on day 2 (it was arranged before our arrival) and then they wanted to show the property on the last day of our stay and we declined. For these reasons, we wouldn't stay again.
