Staff was great but it was a real process getting the correct password for our wifi. It was just out of date and they had to contact the rental company over in Maui. Otherwise we had a nice time!

We ate fresh masubis and coffee every morning from the cafe and loved the pastries as well. Room was stunning with a private ocean view lanai

Overall, our accommodation was quite good! The room facilities were a bit outdated, and the bathroom sink was a little small for a family of three. Room B23 had a great view, overlooking the ocean, trees, and beach. The kitchen stove was convenient for preparing simple meals. The washing machine and dryer came with laundry detergent, which was very convenient for doing laundry – a real necessity in Hawaii! The beds were comfortable, and the sofa bed was also quite comfortable. The downsides: the housekeeper only cleaned the room once, and for the rest of the time, we had to request towels and other necessities from the office. There were some small cockroaches in the room, but I think this is unavoidable due to the climate of Hawaii.

Rooms weren't fully refurbished. You could tell they made some fixture replacements but a ton of sloppy paint jobs. Maids continually forgot to bring basic necessities like soap so we had to call to remind them. One night I went down and there was no staff reception at the counter. I had an uber eats delivery to drop off at what they "claim" is a 24 hour desk and instead there was a phone saying "call for service". I called and the women scolded me that she doesn't handle uber pick-ups and it's not her problem then angrily hung up on me. I called her back to explain the phone literally says "call for help" and all I wanted to know was if it was delivered to the desk which she responded "not my problem". Half the staff didn't feel they wanted to be there. I get work sucks, but it was depressing feeling. Loud drilling from all the construction. They charge $600 a night and didn't even offer anything ($10 credit, apology .NOTHING) for the inconvenience. At least other places will try to do something nice like "free breakfast for one night" as an apology. NOW the high notes. The pool is ABSOUTLEY beautiful and sunsets spectacular. We really enjoyed the luau and nearby manta ray tour and had an amazing view from our room. There were a few GOOD staff members who help (Faith, Spencer) who went out of their way to really try to make us feel welcome. There's a lot of potential, and I'm sure when the construction is done the place will be great. but they have a long way to go.

Very clean, quiet, and so cute! If you’re looking for a nice place to stay in northern Hawaii I would definitely recommend this hotel. My 18 year old son really liked the beds!
