Kona Reef A22 - Direct Ocean Front Condo - Private Lanai - Next to Honl's Beach!

Welcome to our beautifully decorated ocean front condo in paradise - Kona Reef A-22.

Our condo is our home away from home, so we respectfully request a maximum of 2 adult guests and no children under 18.

Whether this is your first trip to Kailua-Kona or you are a frequent visitor to the island, our condo at Kona Reef Resort will definitely be your favorite place to stay.

Our condo is only 23 feet from the water and the 3rd floor views from the lanai are absolutely mesmerizing. You will find yourself drawn to the views from the lanai from dawn till dusk, and with the sounds of the surf, warm tropical breezes and the views of the ocean, you will soon find a soothing sense of calm begin to take over.

Our private lanai hosts a bar height table and chairs, plus 2 swivel chairs with ottomans and a side table. Most mornings while sitting on the lanai and drinking a steamy mug of incredible Kona coffee, a few of the local surfers will be out in front of the condo catching the morning waves, and by the time the sun comes over the volcano, more often than not a pod of spinner dolphins will pass through on their early morning trek.

Early on Wednesdays and Saturdays mornings, cruise ships will pass directly in front of the condo and dock in Kaulua- Kona for the day and then sail off to Lahaina, Maui as the sun begins to set. The humpback whales (na kohola) visit Hawaii every year from November until early May and some have even been spotted from the lanai.

Once your day begins to wind down, you will find yourself anxiously waiting for the stunning sunsets that Hawaii is famous for.

Amazing View Condo

Most amazing sunset and ocean activity views! We saw whales, dolphins, swimmers, surfers, outriggers turtles and birds right from the deck! Wonderfully appointed and amenities. Really enjoyed the filtered water spigot in the kitchen! Communication from owners was thorough and timely and clear. Definitely worth it!

Everything we needed was here! Luxury towels, comfortable bed, beach towels, cooler, beach chairs and umbrella. Drying rack for clothes and Hawaii books. Beautifully decorated and updated. Bathroom has everything you need. We will recommend to everyone we know and pkan to go back!

Kona Vacation

This is a great property right on the water. It is nicely updated, clean and the bed was really comfortable. The complex is kept clean and there is plenty of parking. One criticism would be about the couch and chair. They are not very comfortable and need to be updated. I would definitely stay here again.

EXCELLENT!

Terrific location. Only a few easy walking blocks to downtown Kona. And a few nice restaurant options only 2 blocks away right on the ocean. The condo was clean and very functional. View from condo was tremendous. Sunsets every night, right in front of you from private Lanai. Waves crashing. Couldn't be any more spectacular. Will not be disappointed.

Amazing views! Amazing condo!

The hosts were so friendly and helpful from day one! The condo was absolutely wonderful. We appreciate a place where you can be on vacation but still be able to cook and make coffee and have a leisurely start to your day. The condo had everything we needed. Beach chairs, mats, towels, kitchen essentials and most importantly, stunning views and a beach right next door! It was magical. We will be back and hope we can still book this condo… hopefully the word won’t get out too much 😃

Location and View Are Amazing

First off cxl your dinner reservations at sunset. You won’t need them…..just have dinner on this amazing lanai at Sunset ….no restaurant can beat the view. Condo is in great location on Ali’i street, walkable to all restaurants, bars and shopping. Unit is well appointed and cozy. The sounds of the waves were so soothing they put us to sleep most nights. Host was responsive and helpful….checking in was a breeze. Close drive to nice beaches and airport. Definitely a do-over!

Boogie Boarder Showtime

This condo checked all of the boxes for a vacation rental. The lanai is virtually on top of the waves breaking onto the shore. The surf was up so local surfers and boogie boarders were out in force and put on a show! As far as amenities, this rental had everything you could ask for and then some. We've never experienced a VRBO that had as many creature comforts as this one. Tons of silverware, cutlery, and dinnerware plus all the little things like first aid items and binoculars. There were plenty of restaurants a short walk away. The Safeway was a five-minute drive for food items. We've already booked another stay for next spring. Thank you KaCee and Kurt for a great vacation.

This is an excellent place to stay. The listing is entirely accurate and the views are unparalleled. Easy access to everything on the island. Parking is free and convenient. Fantastic view

Loved staying at this property. The view was amazing, the sound of the waves soothes you to sleep, enjoying coffee on the balcony every morning was just heavenly. We walked every night into town to get our steps in. Will definitely be returning. The host were wonderful with all communication.

This property is in an amazing location. Right on the water and can listen to the waves and watch boogie boarding. It is a short walk to pubs and shops, restaurants. The pool is amazing and heated which is a plus. Even in the warm weather a heated pool is perfect. Everyone at the condo was so friendly so we had a lot of fun conversations. We BBQ’d several times so that was convenient but the BBQ’s on site took a long time to heat up so that was a bit of a nuisance. I think they might need an update. Our hosts were very good. They checked in to make sure all was satisfactory. The condo is very well stocked, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and a lot of dishes and utensils and spices. Every thing you need. I honestly think this is the best condo to rent. Highly recommend
