Stunning ocean views, just steps from lively nightlife and the best of Island fare, this 1 bed, 1 bath, beautifully updated condo awaits you. Enjoy watching boats, paddlers and soothing waves from your lanai, while sipping your morning coffee, or catch the legendary Kona sunset over an evening cocktail. Enjoy a short stroll to shops, restaurants, and a lively farmers market – no need to worry about driving or parking – or venture out to Big Island attractions from a prime location! At the end of the day, relax in the refreshing pool, and take advantage of pool-side BBQ facilities surrounded by lush Island flowers and wildlife.

This second-floor corner unit opens into a bright open floor plan with a living room, dining area, and kitchen. Plantation decor gives the home an island vibe in each room. The living room has a comfortable couch placed in front of a flat screen TV. A single window A/C unit, a washer/dryer, wifi, and a DVD player are provided for your convenience. The couch also functions as a sofa sleeper. You and your guests will enjoy relaxing in here with a movie at night while an ocean breeze flows through the lanai doors.

The quaint kitchen has all appliances a chef could need to cook appetizing meals. You have an option of eating at the built-in breakfast bar for two or the formal dining table with 4 seats. The dining table is situated in front of the lanai. Open the lanai doors to listen to the waves crash. You will be able to witness mesmerizing sunsets over the Kona coast here.

The master bedroom can be closed off for privacy at night. This bedroom is furnished with a luxurious King-sized bed and plenty of closet space. The bathroom is right outside the bedroom. The full bathroom has a standalone shower and a washer/dryer handy for any wet swim suits.

Kona Mansions offers their guests several other amenities to check out during your stay. There is 1 parking space, coin-based laundry facilities, BBQ stations, and an outdoor pool surrounded by lush tropical greenery.

This small condo was perfect for us. A great view of the ocean and sunsets. Kitchen had everything we needed. Condo was clean. Bed was comfortable. Items needed for the beach were just what we needed. An easy walk to town, shops and restaurants. A great place to stay.

Kailua getaway

Started in Hilo and then travelled here for the last few days. After roughing it in the jungle this was a very luxurious stop before our travels home. Snorkeling was amazing, could see whales from our window. Also a submarine came up (for tourists. Close to stores and restaurants. Great location for our daily excursions and we were very happy it had ac.

Great Location in Kailua-Kona

This is a perfect, small condo for an adult couple within walking distance to the center of Kailua-Kona. It had everything we needed, including beach equipment, snorkeling, beach chairs, towels, etc. We loved the view to the ocean and amazing sunsets! There are homeless in the area and an empty lot right next door, so just be sure you lock the security gate.

Cozy central stay in Kailua

The location was superb - walking distance from restaurants in Kailua. The apartment was very nicely decorated and had all amenities we needed. It also included some snorkeling and beach gear you can use. We traveled with our 2 year old son and there was no cot, but the bed was huge and could comfortably fit all of us.

We would return in a heart beat---already talking about next winter.

This rental was so well-equipped---down to the NutriBullet! Everything you need is at your fingertips---including food staples, which are not always stocked in vacation rentals. We even found rum and added a bottle of mai tai mix. It is true that there is no balcony to sit on, but eating breakfast at the table in front of the open sliding glass doors was just as good. And the whole apartment faces the ocean, even the bedroom, which opens on to the living room via folding doors. What a view to wake up to! It was fun to see the ocean liners dock and pull back out to sea. And NOTHING beats being able to walk into Kailua-Kona. No parking hassles. This is a prime location.

Very nice condo close to everything

Loved this property. King Bed comfy, linens very nice, shower warm and roomy. Kitchen had everything- even spices etc to cook with, chip clips, everything I would have at home. It was so nice to have room to stretch out. Tastefully decorated. Walking distance to the water, restaurants, tour stuff. Fantastic gelato place around the corner. It is an apt. complex that is very well taken care of and quiet. There are a few signs saying before 8 am and after 10 pm keep noise down. Everything was newly painted and done very well. There is a view of the ocean but we did keep the shade down since we were only there in the late evening. The smell of plumerias is wonderful right outside the front door.

There was too many personal items from owner in unit to include 7 extra sets of sheets. Items had to be stored in order to use the limited spaces. Cooking utensils below average condition. The bathroom toilet was low to the floor. No lighting in bathroom. Carpets were dirty. The grounds were not taken care of properly to include the pool. Very disappointing.

Noisy

This condo does not have a balcony although the picture suggests that it does. It has a view of the ocean but also is on a busy street. Kona itself is very noisy so if you are looking for a quiet, restful vacation, don't go there. The kitchen of this condo was well equipped except for the knives which were dull, just like every other VRBO knife I've ever used. There is one light switch in the bathroom which also turns the fan on, but the fan did nothing except make a terrible noise. If you needed to close the windows to block the street noise, the window AC unit was inadequate.
