Aloha! Welcome to Keauhou Kona Surf & Racquet Club #9-305

This spectacular top floor, beautifully decorated, highly desirable corner unit has an impressive 1,188 interior square feet, plus a covered wrap around lanai with ocean views. Unit features two bedrooms & two newly remodeled bathrooms, modern Daikin air conditioning, and in unit washer/dryer. Accommodations allow six people to sleep comfortably in the master king-sized bed (with full en suite bathroom), two full size beds in the second bedroom (with adjacent newly remodeled bathroom), and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The unit has free 500 Mbs high-speed internet and the living room and bedrooms feature modern flat screen TVs ​with cable. Additionally, the unit offers the use of boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, beach bags, tennis rackets, pickle ball racquets.badminton racquets, snorkel gear, inflatable rafts, and a cooler. Property was just upgraded to include LVP flooring throughout the condo.

Property amenities include three lighted tennis courts, clubhouse, newly remodeled pool, ping pong, volley ball, and soft drink machines. Property ​is adjacent to the Kona Country Club Golf Course. And if you are looking for more, one of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archaeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago.

As you walk to the other side of the complex, you will find a black sand beach directly adjacent to the property! A five-minute walk gets you to Kahalu'u Beach for snorkeling or surfing; and a short drive finds you at Magic Sands Beach for playing in the sand and waves. KTA supermarket is right up the road from us, also close enough to walk if you choose. Keauhou Shopping Center is close by and boasts a theater, Longs Drugs, several restaurants, other shops, and a Post Office.

THINGS TO KNOW: This condo is located on the third floor. Elevators are not available. This is a non-smoking condo.

We have a keyless entry system using a digital access code. You won’t have to worry about losing or forgetting your keys. This also makes it easier for check in and check out.

We have a new modern Daikin Split AC system which will effectively cool the entire condo during hot days. This includes 4 separate AC units in both bedrooms and the living room.

Excellent communication with owner. Excellent amenities-beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear, beach shoes, kids sand toys etc The only negative is the mattress on both beds in the 2nd bedroom need replaced. There is an egg crate to mask both beds worn mattresses. When you are away and on vacation, the 2 most important factors are cleanliness and comfort of the beds, (linens, pillows, mattress). The owner really needs to replace the mattresses in this VRBO.

Great Family Vacation

The condo/resort was truly amazing. My family enjoyed the pickle ball courts quite a lot. The beach equipment available in the room came in very handy and we were very thankful that it was available to us.

Amazing Experience at the KKSRC

The property is situated in a great location—perfect if you are planning on experiencing the manta ray snorkling/dive excursion and/or golf at the Kona Country Club. It was clean and beautifully furnished. We loved the view of the ocean from the pool and easy access to the beach. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here. We did have an issue with the AC when we got there and Denis was right on it and had it fixed that same day. The cleaning wasn’t the best but all in all a great stay!

Beautiful view, nice location

We were very impressed with the view, the comfortable beds and how well stocked the condo was. The balcony allowed for great sunset viewing. Very close to stores and several restaurants, and the beach just adjacent to the condo rarely had anyone on it and had good snorkeling

Home Away From Home

We felt SO at home in this beautiful, clean, well stocked & comfortable home. I own a cleaning company so it’s hard to impress me normally. We were all impressed and felt this home lacked nothing. We all wished we had chosen this home for our entire stay instead of starting at a different location. We felt like we were staying with family. There were so many beach toys that were a great asset including beach chairs!We definitely hope to come again.

It was a comfortable unit with everything we needed for a week long stay. Our favorite part was the outdoor space, lots of room to open up as a family of four. Small ant problem but didn’t turn us off from enjoining our stay.

Fabulous condo in paradise

This condo and the property grounds were fantastic! The space was great and our highlight was eating meals on the balcony. We enjoyed the tennis, pickleball, and swimming pool. You can walk to the beach next door and watch beautiful sunsets. The location was great for our first visit to the Big Island because it allowed to visit many different locations. We drove to Volcanoes national park and Hilo in one big day trip and also went to beaches north of Kona which were great for the kids.

Wonderful but needs a few changes.

This is a wonderful condo spacious and well equipped. It just needs some updating. The deck is huge but the rocker chair needs replacement as well as the pillows. Perhaps 2 rocker chairs to go with the love seat to create seating for 4. The carpet throughout is getting old and not in line with tropical decore. Beds far too soft for us. Perhaps better mattresses needed. Loved the resort amenities. Dennis gets 10 out of 10 as a conscientious host. We know he will deal with these issues. Rod and Betty

Perfect Place for Two Week Stay

The property was clean with gorgeous views of the ocean from the lanai. Everything we needed and more was provided. Dennis and Maria made sure we had what we needed to in order to find the condo complex, get into the gate, and get into the condo. They were also very responsive when we had questions. We are always so appreciative of clean properties, and this one was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our two weeks!

Beautiful condo/home

We enjoyed our weeks in this condo. The owners were quick to respond when we had a question. It is comfortably furnished; bright and cheery. There is a beach to relax on and for little children to play in shallow water. The location is near a local island style small shopping area that includes: grocery store, restaurants, Saturday produce market, movie theater, book store, live music and island dancers on some Friday nights. We would definitely return!

Our first trip to Hawaii did not disappoint! The views from inside with the curtains open and sitting on the lanai were amazing! Dennis has top notch communication. The stairs weren’t bad to walk up and down, having A/C more than makes up for walking up stairs. The grocery store and shopping center with a few restaurants is about 3 min away, so convenient. Not to mentions we were somewhere close to 15 min from shopping and a lot of good restaurants. Great location, very clean, beach chairs and toys, great host. Highly recommend!

Great stay

Spent 6 nights with my family of 6. Very nice apartment located in a quiet part of the Island. Kona is 10 minutes away. There is a supermarket 3 minutes away. The unit is spacious and very well equipped. Dennis is a great host. Instruction very clear. Wi-Fi worked very well (a plus for those of us who had to work). Everything was perfect. Would recommend.

Nice family getaway

Dennis was an amazing host who checked in with us upon checkin and great with communication. He recommend a great swimming location for our 2yrs old with green back turtles. Property is away from the busy & lively Kona Coast so perfect for our family. Close drive to everything nearby such as beach, stores, cafe, marina (swimming with Manta Rays). We used the pool so the use of the swim gear was amazing! The lanai was used heavily for every meal & try place had everything we need to make meals. Highly recommend this home for cleanliness, location, friendliness! We would definitely stay again & highly recommend Dennis & Maria’s home

The most unbelievable views from this unit!! The condo contained so many luxury items!!! Pool towels, snorkel gear, tennis and pickle ball paddies and balls, coolers, beach toys and anything you could possibly need for a vacation!! The kitchen was equipped with everything a cook could ask for.. including spices, oils, kitchen gadgets, and cookware! Thank you for the best vaca!! Oh and the neighbors playing pickle ball.. the absolute sweetest!!

Nice spot

Well appointed condo. Had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Showing it's age a wee bit in the bathrooms, however, this is minor. LOVED the wrap around veranda and windows with the beautiful views, and the vaulted ceilings with exposed wood! We struggled a bit to find the wifi password, but after getting hold of vrbo they were able to help us out. Might be a good idea for the host to include a booklet or signage with this information for easy reference (especially for jet lagged travelers). Location was great with a grocery store just up the hill and short walks to the shoreline with amazing views. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would book it again.

Texans Take Kona

This property had a lot to offer. Plenty of open space and had a great view with a large porch. Short walk to a beach but was rocky on the shoreline so bring secure water shoes. Plenty of grocery options close. I would recommend going to the property before the store. There were a lot of condiments and even left over pantry goods that we used and helped cut back on grocery bill. Beds were comfortable and super soft! 3rd floor no elevator- perfectly fine for our group but could be limiting for some.
