The Owners of Casa#237 have completed an incredible remodel. Top of the Line Kitchen & Bathroom with an amazing walk in shower. They have also ADDED A 2ND HALF BATHROOM! Wow! Very rare and special amenity, nearly unheard of at the Casa De Emdeko, so 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom!

This Deluxe, Largest 1 bedroom Floor plan at the Casa De Emdeko features a generous 920 interior square feet, and is positioned in a fantastic location in the development. It's only one unit off the front of the building nearest to the ocean.

This 2nd floor condo has a spacious lanai for outdoor dining or sunbathing! From the large private covered lanai you'll have a big view of the ocean just a few steps away; with plumeria trees, palms, and the big round saltwater pool at the ocean's edge. There's another delightful freshwater swimming pool close by, in the gardens near the fountains. At sunset the conch is blown and the tiki torches lit for your mellow evening barbecuing on our gas grills or relaxing on the lanai.

The Bedroom has a King sized bed with it's own private bathroom that features 2 sinks, and a gorgeous huge walk in shower.

The Kitchen is fully equipped to comfortably make meals for your group.

Central Air conditioning to keep cool in Hawaiis heat! There's a sleeper sofa in the Living room that's a "Full" Sized sleeper.

Casa De Emdeko offers owners and guests the perfect blend of Hawaiian ambiance with tropical gardens and the songs of the many colorful birds enjoying the water features in the garden. Enjoy our garden pool located in the middle of a tropical setting. Casa also has one of the few oceanfront pools where you can swim and soak up the warm Hawaiian sun while watching the whales or dolphins play, depending on the season of your visit. Swaying palm trees on our private, sandy sunning area at the ocean's edge offers glorious sunsets with a special sense of serenity. Loved this place!

Awesome location within the property and a beautiful ocean view from lanai. Comfortable bed for my husband and I while kids slept on a pullout bed. Our fave aspect were the two pools, especially the saltwater pool overlooking the ocean.

Amazing location for evening sunsets!

This is the perfect location! Location is convenient to the downtown area and evening sunsets are amazing. Locals and other travelers meet each evening to share the sunset ceremony while cooking dinner on the provided grills. The lanai’s location allows for a peaceful, morning view of the ocean while relaxing with coffee and breakfast.

Loved the room location. Close to the ocean and beautiful views. Kitchen was well appointed and the second 1/2 bath was a bonus. A washer dryer would have been useful but we managed.

GREAT SPACE

This is a lovely place to stay. It is clean and fresh. It has been remodeled recently. The property was quite nice with 2 pools and a sandy spot for relaxing near the coast. The furnishings and bed were quite comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bath was large, with double sinks and a nice shower. We would absolutely stay in this unit again if we head to Kona in the future!

On the shoreline

Overall, a very pleasant experience. We were there for the Ironman competition, so the crowds were pretty heavy. The run portion of the race happened right in front of the complex, which made it nice. Location right on the coast was very nice, however, really no beach area in front of the complex. 30 minute walk to downtown Kona, about 1.3 miles (flat). Loved the salt water (ocean fed?) pool. Parking could be an issue if the complex is full.

Casa de Emdeko is a great complex and unit 237 is, in our opinion just what we need to relax and enjoy the Kailua Kona area. It is decorated in Hawaiian style and its location in the complex is great (one unit from the Ocean). Having 2 bathrooms is a welcome feature as well! Already planning our next visit!

Everything in the kitchen was great and the amount of space was great - it was a bit tight once all 4 of us (two adults, two tween/teens) were in the space, but only when it came to maneuvering around a sleeping teen, which was not a surprise. The outside space is nice in the morning and the evenings, a great view of the sunset from the door or a walk down the steps to the lava rock wall, the pools were in great shape and the salt water pool was the favorite. The unit is in a nice location for getting to downtown Kona and we didn't hear any road noise as the unit is on the ocean end of the resort. I would happily return to this unit!

The condo was very clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything we needed The location was perfect, nice and quiet but an easy, few minute drive into downtown Kona for shopping or restaurants or south to Magic Sands or Captain Cook. The view from the lanai was outstanding and I miss it already! There was plenty of furniture both inside and outside for comfortable seating, but I will say that I found the bed to be too soft and not as comfortable (though I know that is very subjective). Wouldn't deter me from coming back though, as this condo was absolutely perfect for us. It was just my husband and I, so the size was perfect. It was plenty spacious for the 2 of us, but may have been a little small for a family. The extra half bath was much appreciated. The complex is very well kept and very quiet at night. We loved the salt water pool and beach area and enjoyed sitting in the courtyard in the evenings with tiki torches lit and watching the waves roll in. Knutson and Associates were very easy to work with and checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was perfect for us - which it was. We had no issues or problems at all while we were there. If we ever have the privilege to come back to the Big Island, I would absolutely stay here again and wouldn't look anywhere else.

There are two lawn chairs and umbrellas available as well as a small cooler in one of the kitchen cupboards. It is close to everything in the area. We recommend Huggos On-the-rocks for a nice sunset dinner. The property management met us at check-in to show us everything and make sure we got settled in okay. They even left an awesome welcome gift, including a fruit basket. I would highly recommend this property.
