Apartment was clean and had all items needed (even beach chairs and coolers) for a weeklong stay. The hosts ensured everything was as needed and checked in to during our stay which was much appreciated. Even though we were near front of complex, we walked to the back to see some of the best sunsets. Parking was very easy.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alii villas! The condo was stocked with all the essentials including everything we needed for our daily beach adventures! Mahalo for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Great location for walking/biking into town. Clean property with a properly stocked kitchen to enjoy morning coffee and breakfast. Closet full of beach gear for some fun adventures. Overall, I would recommend it!
Nice size 3 storey walk up, clean, well stocked. Fair bit of Street noise can be heard in the master bedroom. If you are not used to a busy city it could be a problem.
My most important pluses: Unit was clean and parking convenient.
Down points as noted on prior reviews, street noise and 3rd floor no elevator.
Additional Positives: excellent cross breeze, two AC's in unit, and ceiling fans in living room, kitchen and bedroom. Nice lanai and well stocked kitchen.
Bed is on the soft side, not my personal preference, but not a take-away, just a notation.
Free shuttle stop right in front of complex, approx 1-1/2 mi from town and all restaurants; shops.
All-in-all a good bargain.
This was my 2nd time staying at the Alli Villas property. This time I choose the 3rd floor for added security. It was comfortable, roomy, clean had all amenities as an apartment would. It was a true peek a boo view from the lani all the way to to left. It's 1st building at the entrance so you get full on sun and street noise in the bedroom but only if you open the window I kept every window and curtain closed to keep it cool because there are portable ac units. I loved that. The kitchen had everything. I cooked every breakfast and majority of my dinners because I would always be in the house at dark. I packed my lunch and cooler daily because this was a beach themed vacation for me. My favorite is disappearing magic sands beach.the theater chairs are comfortable great for naps and watching tv. The pool was nice and heated. I wish I would've spent more time out there at night when returned. The blackout drapes worked great may need laundering the house has a strange smell which I think came from the drapes I just used air freshener. The property is ocean front so I was able to walk to shore and sit on the benches and watch the beautiful view. This property is beautiful and well groomed.I would stay here again
This fully furnished condo comes with everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay. Ideally located, it’s about a 2.5-hour drive to the Volcano and just an hour if you're heading north.The kitchenette and laundry area are well-stocked, and you'll find plenty of beach gear for relaxing days by the shore. Free parking is available close to the unit. Please note that the condo is located on the third floor and accessible by stairs only. The only drawback is the use of portable A/C units in the living room and master bedroom.
This property was well maintained, SUPER clean when we arrived and conveniently located in Kona. The complex common areas were very well maintained and there was a nice "community feel" to the complex. The unit is located close to the street but we did not hear an overwhelming amount of street noise. Property management was very responsive and helpful. Recommend for anyone looking for an affordable place to stay while in Kona.

This place was as described. It had a lot of extras - boogie board, beach chairs, umbrella, flippers and snorkel. Kitchen capabilities was excellent. Really good selection of dishes,glasses, cutlery and pans.
The lani was very private and excellent size capable of having four people dining.
Only complaint was that only the bedroom had A/C, but the lounge/kitchen needs to have A/C as during the day it became too hot. Had all the fans on and still was too hot.
They recently instituted pool rules that state no yelling and no flotation devices. Children who play in the pool occasionally yell as part of their playtime. Our granddaughter at 5 months old had a flotation device that allowed her to safely sit and have protection from the sun while enjoying the water. Now according to their new rules, this isn't allowed. So buyer beware.

Great Location, Nicely Furnished Unit
#301 Alii Villas was a very good fit for my wife and I, unit has been updated and is a good size for 2 people, nice kitchen cupboards and countertop, good assortment of dishes, pots, pans, etc. Washroom was clean and well equipped. There were lots of towels, washer and dryer. No air conditioning in the kitchen living area, only a portable unit in the bedroom but found this adequate, we're from Alberta so we are not going to complain about the odd hot day, generally windows and patio door ventilation were good enough for the non air conditioned areas. #301 is closest to Alii Drive, Alii Drive is busy so traffic noise is noticeable, after a day or so and with the air conditioner to provide some white noise we got used to it and were able to sleep OK. We walked to downtown Kona several times, takes about 20 minutes each way depending how far you go.
We had a wonderful time! Dawn was great at communicating, and we had a blast. The unit was well kept, and we felt at home. We did a load of laundry that leaked, and we communicated the issue and we were not charged for it, so that is a plus! The other reviews were correct, the street noise did happen but it was drowned out by the AC unit. This was the cheapest we could find and we do not regret the purchase! Please give this rental a chance :).
The condo was clean and well equipped with kitchen, beach and picnic gear as well as various kinds of soaps and cleaners. We enjoyed the peek-a-boo surf view from the lanai and the bench viewpoint in the complex. Having a convenient assigned parking spot was very helpful. The trade winds outside and fans inside kept the condo comfortable and we did not need to use the air conditioning. We had everything we expected!
The condo was perfect. It had everything we needed. It was extremely clean and well stocked from kitchen utensils/appliances to beach chairs and towels. The complex was beautiful and quiet. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home away from home
We found the accommodations to be clean and very well equipped as was the BQ facilities and pool area. Our lower rating for location was due to the condo's proximity to Alii Drive and the traffic noise (see previously posted remarks).
If you are accustomed to having your windows open to the fresh air and coolness of the evenings and nights be advised that you may find the traffic noise an issue.
