Really nice room, great decor and comfortable beds. The room was spacious, with a big bathroom. The area is stunning with snowy mountains and forest areas. Breakfast selection was ok. Was hoping to see bears, which staff says can sometimes be around, but none with our stay. Would definitely come back and stay here again

Alpenhof was just right for a two night stay as we spent a day and a half exploring the area, including taking gondola to top of the mount, and driving to explore the lakes. Near to several eating options and bars. Pool swim was nice way to end the day. Staff friendly.

We enjoyed out stay at the Heidelberg and June Lake. The room was very comfortable, well equiped, clean, we felt safe, warm and cosy. we used the laundry, quick, clean and easy to use. The towels we soft and fluffy, the bed was comfortable and had lovely linen. The kitchen was well equiped.

Needs an elevator or escalator forgetting to the second floor

Better than expected! Was a good stopover point in our travels, we booked a room without much in the way of cooking and there’s not many good options nearby for groceries or to eat out- but that’s expected in such a quiet area. Would stay again

My partner and I stayed here after a long drive from San Fran. We didn't arrive until later a night however the owners had kept in contact about late check in and left a key out for me. When we got into our room, the heating was already on (much needed as it was so cold out) and there were home made cookies on the kitchen bench. The beds were super comfy and I had the perfect nights sleep. Waking in the morning to fresh snow, sunshine and the lovely scenery at the front door was heaven. I...

Clean and nice

Stayed here just one night on stopover to Yosemite. Wished we had stayed longer. Lovely little hotel. Lovely town.

Parking was good, staying in a cabin. Parked 2m from door. Had a neat little kitchen. The Only issue was the stove was gas but no way to light the stove and no kettle to boil water. Don’t smoke so didn’t have matches.
