"The place was okay overall, but in my opinion, it wasn’t worth the price I paid. I spent over $2,100 for nine nights, and for that amount, I expected a much nicer and more comfortable experience. Parking was not included in the price, and I had to pay an additional $22 per night, which added almost another $200 to the total cost. The room and its furnishings were very basic and looked dated. The bedding and furniture didn’t feel high quality, and I noticed splashes of food on parts of the door and wall, which was disappointing. The location is good since it’s right by the beach, but it’s not quite what the pictures suggest. You do need to walk a bit to get to the sand; I expected to open the door and be right on the beach. No breakfast was included. The perks were also unclear and felt misleading. It was advertised as a $22 credit “per stay,” which I initially thought meant per night. Instead, it was only a one-time credit, and it could only be used at the hotel restaurant, not for water or snacks from the front desk. The staff were generally okay, but the person who checked us in on the first night seemed impatient and short-tempered, giving very little explanation or help with questions. After a long day of travel, that wasn’t the most welcoming start."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was extremely clean and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The location is perfect to get to Mission Beach, Belmont Park and Old Town San Diego. The kids enjoyed the pool and the amenities, and I really enjoyed the gym. They had serviceable pelotons in there which was a bonus for me. My only complaint would be the beds were too stiff for me, but when I mentioned this to the staff, they added extra bedding and it made a big difference! We would definitely stay there again."
