"We ended up in a different room than the one shown on the hotels.com website, and it was very rustic, to say the least! The bathroom was a long ways away, and we had no lights, so luckily the Ipad light helped. The sheets and clothes get damp, so make sure you cover things up. Mosquitos are bad, ..."

Wonderful setting off the grid
"We really enjoyed the ocean view and sunrises, the moon and star sights and the clean and inviting cottage. It was easy to book and the communication was excellent. A tranquil setting where time seems to stand still. Very grateful for the memories."

Best hosts ever! Staying with Erich and Suzy was like hanging out at a friend’s vacation home. Close to Hilo and Pahoa and not too far to Volcano either. Breakfast was everything you’d expect in a continental breakfast including fresh local fruit.
